Our summer bbq was today and wow, what amazing weather we had for it! ☀️
I wish I had taken more pictures but I was on Pimms duty!
Thanks as always to the incredible staff, our AMAZING chef Lorna and to all friends and family for coming along! 🍗 🍷 🎉

Halsdown are holding a games morning followed by a BBQ on the 23rd August, all friends and family of Halsdown are welcome to attend. Please pop your name on the form in the foyer along with dietary requirements.

Halsdown would like to invite you for a VE Day celebration afternoon tea on Thursday 8th May. We will aim to start at approximately 4pm and have various activities to mark the anniversary. If anyone is wanting to join us please let a member of staff know 🇬🇧🍰🫖

Easter bonnets were met with a little hesitancy until they got their creative flair going! The parade was judged and the winner was announced as Eileen (with help from daughter Lyn).
Thank you to the staff and relatives for helping as it wouldn’t have been a success without you all!

Thank you to all daughters, sons and granddaughters who has expressed an interest in the lunch! We are now at full capacity and can’t take any more bookings!

As Glenys said so well, all families are invited to joins us at Halsdown on Saturday 29th March for a Mother’s Day lunch and games. Please come along from 11.30 for games and lunch will be served from 12.30.
Bookings taken until Thursday 27th March so the chef has time to collate numbers.
2 course meal will be £10 per person.
Please let Louise know if you wish to join us ❤️
Ps- don’t listen to Elaine, clothes are compulsory! 😂

The big shiny ball of happiness is back in the skies so of course we decided to make the most of topping up on vitamin D! A little trip to the beach for ice cream ❤️

Thank you to everyone who took part in today’s wreath making, it was a huge success and everyone really enjoyed themselves. As always a massive thank you to Jacqui for giving up her time to guide us through with her expertise.
We had a head judge Margaret who declared the winner was Eileen and Jess who wins absolutely nothing except the ability to gloat that theirs was the best!

Don’t forget the Christmas party next Tuesday the 17th from 2pm 🎄❄️🎅❤️

We have been getting festive at Halsdown with all sorts of activities from Christmas boxes, gingerbread houses to craft Fayres and a festive tea at otter nurseries! This Thursday is our most popular activity……wreath making from 10.30, all slots to make one have been taken but everyone welcome for mince pies and coffee 🎄🎅
