The Government Says It’s Listening – But Where’s the Action?

💬 "We hear you." That’s what MPs tell us when we raise concerns about social care. But if they’re really listening, why is the system still in crisis?

📊 Over 2.6 million older people in England have unmet care needs.
📊 418,029 people are waiting for care assessments, direct payments, or reviews.
📊 Community care legal aid has collapsed—there’s been a 77% drop in access since 2010.

👩‍⚕️ What does this mean in real life?
🚨 People waiting months, or years, for the care they need.
🚨 Families struggling to fill the gap when support isn’t available.
🚨 Care providers closing their doors because funding isn’t keeping up with costs.

The government has been ordered to release key social care data, but we already know the reality.

💬 We can’t afford more delays.
💬 Care cannot wait.
