Taken at 6am by our manager Sarah, what a beautiful view to start the day! 🌞

Our lovely manor house has been converted to add additional rooms and create a wonderful internal garden for our residents, but you can't help but admire how the sun rising over the trees lighting up the main house.

We have lots of things that need doing around our home and our marvellous maintenance man Mat, always does everything with a smile ✨

This month our residents voted for their favourite member of the non-care team. They fed back that Mat was always happy and would chat while he was doing things, no job to small and always responsive to any requests.

Pat shared how he always checked if she was happy with her room and did anything need doing for her, which she said made her feel safe 😃💜

We love our board games here at Yaxley House and they are a great way for residents to have some fun. Sylvia and Carol wanted to play Ludo ✨💜

They enjoyed competing with each other, and they both won their games! 🏆

Colin and Sylvia made Rice Krispie cakes in celebration of , they wanted to make something for the tea trolley - Although we aren't sure they will last that long! 😅🤣

We had a rootin' tootin' time on Friday! ✨🇺🇲

We saved our scampi for tea and had a wonderful pulled beef with some lovely Southern flavours, and of course some burgers!

We also practised our lassoing, while line dancing, can you spot the hay bales? 😆

Always important to recognise the hard work of our team here at Yaxley House, and new manager Sarah was playing a little bit of catch up!

When Sarah asked residents families about who they felt goes the extra mile, she had some lovely feedback, about how this person engages with residents throughout their working day and always ensures things are just the way the residents like them to be. As a member of our domestic team they go above and beyond.

When Sarah asked about the scheme when she started at Easter, Seniors and Management in place all said they would vote for this person, as they are kind, compassionate, patient and caring with residents.
