Our lovely Fred has had a rough time, following a traumatic brain injury, there are a lot of things that he has had to relearn, this week Fred got up and out in his chair! 🙌

He was a sailor and he spent some time talking with our manager Sarah who is a sailor about the wind, he predicted the weather change and got us in out of the garden just in time to miss the rain!

You can take the sailor out of the boat….⛵💜

Peter and Sue made some wind chimes for our courtyard garden, they both love music, and wanted to bring some to our garden 🎶

Our amazing Victoria comes in every two weeks to do chair Pilates, she loves to have good music, red hats, and a dance when needed!🎶💜

Colin particularly likes to dance to music! We love our sessions with Victoria 🤩

Every 2 weeks the wonderful Victoria comes to do chair Pilates with us!!

She likes to turn the music up and we have our cabaret red glittery hats so we can do our fosse like moves in our chairs 🤣🎩

We celebrated as dignity should be celebrated more often which is why we value it so much for our residents. We decided to celebrate with a Digni ‘tea’ day! 💜

Exercise takes different forms and we love to move to music!! We enjoyed some arm exercises and waving our arms in the air like we just don’t care! 😂🙌

Our wonderful Peggy really enjoys knitting, and she knits blankets by the dozen 😌

These are collected by her family and donated to the local neonatal unit in Cardiff. Her wonderful skill and kindness benefits the next generations.

Peggy is such a kind and thoughtful lady. Amazing work Peggy!! 😍🙌

A recent trip to a local animal park had our carers and residents giggling.

Animal therapy is so very important whether it be a dog visiting our home, or us visiting camels! 🐫😍
