🌸 What is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive medical treatment used to treat spider veins and varicose veins: common conditions where veins become enlarged, twisted, or visible near the skin’s surface.

🌸 How does it work?
A specialised solution (called a sclerosant) is injected directly into the affected vein. This solution intentionally irritates and damages the vein’s inner lining (the endothelium), causing the vein walls to collapse and stick together. As a result, blood flow through that vein stops. The body then naturally reroutes blood through healthier veins, while the treated vein is gradually broken down and absorbed over time, eventually fading from view.

- Improved appearance of visible veins
- Relief from unpleasant symptoms such aching, heaviness, or swelling
