We had a lovely time celebrating Valentine's Day with the people who live with us. The wonderful Hazel came in to perform some of the biggest love songs through the decade for us, and her daughter also came along to keep some of our ladies on their toes with a spontaneous game of balloon tennis, along with the lovely Debbie who kept the game going!

We've had a fun few weeks playing prize bingo in the home. Last week we played Elvis picture bingo to celebrate his birthday and this week we played regular prize bingo to keep our brains active for More...Thinking.

Congratulations to all of the winners! We hope you enjoy your prizes. And a big thank you to the carers who helped out and for buying some goodies (especially Jen who got more excited than anyone else when playing!)

We decided to brave the cold weather today and venture out for a coffee and some cake, followed by a wander in the shops for the January sales!

Nan thoroughly enjoyed her apple pie (warmed with cream!) and the friendly and familiar faces of the girls working in the cafe as she used to visit there. There's nothing better on a cold winters day!

Recently we enjoyed our Christmas party, and it's fair to say it was enjoyed by all. We had Hazel singing some songs for us, as well as a choir performance from the very enthusiastic staff. Some visitors also showed up to spread some holiday cheer. We are definitely in the Christmas spirit now!
