Happy birthday to our queen was 105 yrs old on Thursday. She had a wonderful day with all who visited and then our piper Megan.

Hi Everyone

At Wallside, we are often offer the opportunity to hold a relatives meeting,but never had much shown interest in doing this, so I thought I would try using social media to ensure all relatives and friends are aware we offer those. This meeting can be about progression and development related to Wallside. It's also a great way for other relatives to meet and share experience.

The topics we are hoping to cover are.
Menu planning for winter- feedback & suggestions welcome. Environment & refurbishment. Resident funds - what would you like to see this spent on? Trios or garden or any other suggestions. Activities - what we are and how this is going. Recruitment. Occupancy. What do you think we could improve on or do better.What do we do well - recent internal & external quality assurances. What can we celebrate - any good news we can share.

The proposed dates for this meeting are
23/7 at 18.30-20.00
30/7 at 14.30-16.00
06/8 are 19.00 -20.00

We would be grateful if relatives & friends could let us know what date suits and we will arrange this.

All, we have a residents meeting on the 15th July at 2pm in Nature's View Lounge and all relatives are welcome to attend. At this meeting they discuss the same things but include the good forum. This is where the chef joins in and discusses the current menu.
At this meeting there cannot be any discussion in relation to an individual's care, understandable, this is completed privately with the residents named nurse.

There will be refreshments and home baking available for those who wish to attend.
