The family of the late Mike Aitchison extends their heartfelt thanks to all family and friends who came together to celebrate his life at Falkirk Crematorium on Saturday, July 19th. Your presence was a source of great strength.

They are also deeply grateful for the unwavering support they have received in the days and weeks since Mike’s passing. Your kindness has been a true comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

Special thanks to Independent Celebrant Dougie Smith of Lifetime Reflections for creating and delivering a service that beautifully honoured Mike's life. The family also thanks Lynne at Poppy's & Petals for her assistance with Mike’s stunning floral tributes, and the staff at The Stables, Stenhousemuir, for their exceptional support and hospitality during the funeral tea.

Finally, the family wishes to acknowledge the generous donations made in Mike’s memory, both following the service and through his memorial page, which totalled an amazing £137.80. These contributions will be donated to the Scott Martin Foundation in loving memory of Mike.

It has been a true honour for us to care for Mike, learn about his life and the great man he was, and support his wonderful family. We will continue to support them in the weeks and months ahead in any way we can.

On behalf of his loving family, it is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Fulton (Andy).

Andy passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at his home address on Friday, July 18th, 2025, aged 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Maria and a much-loved dad to Andrew and John, and father-in-law to Tracy and Malea. Cherished granda to Aimee-Leigh, Niall and great granda to Finlay and Fiadh. Also a beloved brother, uncle, and great friend to many.

Above all else, Andy was a devoted family man. His love and support were the glue that held his family together and the foundation upon which his loved ones built their lives. He was never just a father and grandfather; he was a true cornerstone of his family. His presence radiated warmth, kindness, and joy, and his unwavering support enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to share his life.

He lived life to the fullest, embracing each experience with an infectious zest. Whether he was surrounded by family or enjoying laughter with friends, he appreciated every moment and taught others that happiness can be found in the simplest things.

Though he may be gone, his love will continue to thrive through generations. Family and friends will carry his love with them always, and his legacy of love and joy will endure forever.

A service of celebration for the life of Andy will take place at St Teresa of Lisieux RC Church, Possilpark, Glasgow at 10am followed by an interment in St Kentigern's Cemetery.

On behalf of her loving family, it is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julie Daisley (Jules).

Julie passed away suddenly at her home address on Friday, July 11th, 2025, aged 50 years.
Beloved wife to Derek, much-loved daughter to Wullie and Tricia, loving sister to Louise and Shelley, a loving sister-in-law to Michael and Mike, and a treasured auntie to wee Angus. Also a much-loved stepmum to Robyn, doting granny to Millie-Mia, cherished daughter-in-law to Kathleen, and an amazing friend to many.

Julie brought immeasurable love and joy into the lives of her family and friends. Her sudden passing has left a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A central figure in her family, Julie radiated warmth and compassion. She epitomised kindness, always the first to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and even strangers in need. Her generosity was boundless, and it was evident that her purpose in life was to uplift and support everyone around her.

Beyond her family, Julie had an extensive circle of friends who adored her. She thrived in their company, always ready to let her hair down during nights out. Her laughter and infectious spirit lit up every room. Whether she was sharing a joke or lending an ear, she made everyone feel valued and cherished. Even brief encounters with her left a lasting impression, as her kindness touched the hearts of many.

She truly embodied the essence of love and friendship and was undeniably one of the nicest and kindest people many of us will ever meet. Her infectious smile, her kind heart, and her genuine spirit touched so many lives.

While her absence will be deeply felt, her legacy of kindness, love, and joy will continue to inspire. Family and friends will honour her memory by living their lives fully and savouring every moment, just as she did.

A service of celebration for the life of Julie will take place in Falkirk Crematorium on Friday, 1st August, at 12:15 pm.

On behalf of his loving family, we can now announce the service details for the late Derek Furby.

Derek passed away suddenly at his home address on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, aged 47 years. A Loving son, Dad, Brother, Uncle and a great friend to many.

Derek's unexpected departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family and friends. A larger-than-life character and the life and soul of every gathering who always brought laughter, joy, and mischief wherever he went.

A devoted Rangers fan, Derek shared his passion for his team with everyone, regardless of their own opinions and was always completely unapologetic about his passion. His infectious spirit and cheeky sense of humour will be deeply missed, especially during those spontaneous moments filled with fun and shenanigans.

Though his time on earth was brief, it was filled with moments that his family will cherish forever. Even though he may no longer be here in body, his memory will live on through the love he shared, and he will never be forgotten.

A service of celebration for the life of Derek will take place in Falkirk Crematorium on Friday, 8th August, at 11:30 am.

The family of the cherished Margo Patterson would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the many friends and family members who gathered to celebrate her life on Monday, July 14th, at Falkirk Crematorium.

A special thank you goes to Diane Goldberg - Independent Funeral Celebrant for crafting and delivering such a beautiful and fitting service that honoured Margo perfectly. The family also sincerely appreciates Betty of Forever Flowers Denny for assisting with Margo's stunning floral tributes and the Winchburgh Bowling Club for their service and support with Margo’s funeral tea.

Additionally, the family is deeply thankful for the generous donations made in Margo’s memory, both during her service and through her memorial page. These donations totalled an amazing £770.65 and have been contributed to the Scott Martin Foundation in her loving remembrance.

Caring for Margo, supporting her wonderful family, and learning about the remarkable person she was has been a true privilege. We will continue to support them in the weeks and months to come, in any way we can.

The family of the late Bobby Black wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all family members and friends who attended the celebration of his life on Friday, July 11th, at Falkirk Crematorium.

They are profoundly thankful for the invaluable support they received in the days and weeks following Bobby’s passing, which has brought them great comfort during this incredibly difficult time.

Special thanks to Independent Celebrant Marion Gillody of MG Life Celebrant Scotland for crafting and delivering such a beautiful service in honour of Bobby. The family is also grateful to Lynne at Poppy's & Petals for her assistance with Bobby’s stunning floral tributes, and to the staff at the Abbotsinch, Grangemouth, for their support and hospitality during Bobby’s funeral tea.

On behalf of his loving family, it is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Aitchison (Mike).

Mike passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on Monday , July 7th 2025, aged 77 years. Beloved husband to Irene, much-loved dad to Nicola and Graeme, also a cherished papa to Hayley, Courtney, Blake and a great friend to many.

A loving husband for 53 years, Mike dedicated his life to his family. As a devoted dad and cherished papa, he created countless memories filled with laughter and love.

His vibrant personality and colourful character made him an unforgettable presence in the lives of his loved ones. A well-respected figure in the community and fondly remembered for founding the Carronbraes Darts League. Through his dedication to the league, he brought together individuals from all walks of life, promoting camaraderie and friendly competition, and creating bonds that extended far beyond the dartboard.

As a family man and a true friend Mike leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and community spirit. He will forever be remembered and deeply missed.

A service of celebration for the life of Mike will take place in Falkirk Crematorium on Saturday, 19th July, at 9:45 am.

To every parent grappling with the absence of their beloved child, please know that your sorrow is both seen and felt deeply by those around you. Each tear and each memory hold a sacred place in your heart and the hearts of those around you, and your love continues beyond this life.
