We’re looking for a Dispensing Assistant to join our friendly team at Callendar Pharmacy, Camelon.

🕒 Ideally full-time (part-time considered)
💊 Pharmacy experience preferred — but we’re happy to train the right person with a strong attitude and willingness to learn.

The role includes:
✔ Assisting with the safe dispensing of prescriptions
✔ Providing excellent customer service
✔ Supporting the pharmacist and wider team
✔ Stock control and general pharmacy duties

We’re looking for someone who is:
✔ Friendly, reliable, and organised
✔ Comfortable dealing with the public
✔ A good team player with attention to detail
✔ Interested in healthcare and community pharmacy

We have some news from our Thornhill Road Branch.
Our pharmacist Laura will be leaving for maternity leave next week to have her first baby! So a big congratulations and good luck to her from everyone at Callendar Pharmacy!

Covering Laura will be an old face from the High Street- Jenna! Jenna started with us as a work experience student at 15. She then worked Saturdays through school and university before completing her pre- reg pharmacist year with me as her tutor!

She has worked the past 4 years with a local company gaining her prescribing qualification and has now decided to “come home!”

So as from now we have a prescribing pharmacist in Thornhill Road to treat an array of more complicated conditions you may previously gone to your doctor for.

When Laura comes back she will also have qualified as a prescribing pharmacist so this will be a permanent feature in Thornhill Road!
