Stay home between 8pm and midnight and keep away from the coasts. Jersey Met has issued a RED wind warning as Storm Goretti approaches.

Very strong winds with gusts up to 90 miles per hour are forecast at the peak of the storm.

- Only call the emergency services overnight if there is a risk to life.

- Check your property before the storm arrives and secure garden furniture and any other loose items.
