At our recent focus group, we asked if our service users feel supported to take part in the activities that matter most to them, and the answer was a resounding yes!

At Stoneywood, it is important that everyone feels encouraged to enjoy the things they love, whether it is a favourite hobby, a new skill or simply having fun. Supporting the hobbies, interests and passions of our service users is at the heart of everything we do.

📢 Community Social Care Worker – Falkirk & Denny
Part-time maternity cover (88 hours over 4 weeks), supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes. A car and valid driving licence are essential.

📢 Social Care Worker (Residential) – Denny
110 hours over 4 weeks, providing support within a residential home. Experience in care and a relevant qualification are required.

In April, a few of our team and service users took a special trip to Las Vegas to experience WWE’s WrestleMania live. 🇺🇸

They had a brilliant time at the event and managed to explore a bit of Vegas too, from playing the slots and picking up some merch to relaxing by the pool. A trip to remember!

If there’s one thing our service user Josh enjoys, it’s a good walk! 🥾

One weekend, he took on the climb up Dumyat with his family, then followed it up with a lovely stroll from Canada Wood to the Falkirk Wheel.

You can’t beat a sunny day spent outdoors! ☀️

A few weeks ago, our support worker Andrew took on an incredible challenge when he completed a 10,000-foot skydive in Glenrothes to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Andrew chose this cause in memory of one of our clients who sadly passed away after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. He wanted to do something bold to reflect the seriousness of the condition, and what’s bolder than jumping out of a plane?
