There’s something I keep hearing lately…

“I’ve never heard of this before.”

And I understand why.

Because what I do doesn’t fit neatly into a box.

It’s not massage.
It’s not talking therapy.
It’s not just “energy work.”

And if I’m honest…
there have been moments where even I’ve thought:
“Am I actually doing much here?”

Because it doesn’t look like much.

There’s no forcing.
No fixing.
No big dramatic techniques.
Just contact.
Presence.

And allowing the body to do what it’s been trying to do all along.

But here’s what I’ve seen, time and time again:

The body responds.

Subtle at first…
then undeniable.
Breath changes.
Tension shifts.
Movement happens.

Things that have been held for years start to let go.

Not because I’ve done something to it…
But because it finally feels safe enough to stop holding.

And that’s the part people haven’t heard of.

We’ve been taught that healing is about:
doing more
fixing the problem
pushing through

But the nervous system doesn’t work like that.

It works through:
safety
connection
and the right conditions

So when someone says:
“I’ve never heard of this before”

What they’re often feeling is:
“I’ve never experienced my body being allowed to lead like this.”

And for anyone who quietly feels like they’re “not doing much”…

In their work, in their healing, or even in life…

Just know this:
The deepest impact doesn’t always come from doing more.

It comes from not interfering with what’s already trying to happen.

This approach might feel new.

But the body’s ability to respond like this?

That’s always been there.

We’ve just forgotten how to listen.

You don’t need forcing.

You might just need the right kind of support.

Soulful Sunday

You’re not stuck.

You’re just done pretending things feel right when they don’t.

And that low-level “I can’t be bothered” energy?

That’s not you losing your spark.

That’s you losing tolerance for what isn’t aligned anymore.

Big difference.

Because the old version of you would’ve pushed through it.

Forced it.
Talked yourself into it.

This version?
Can’t.
Won’t.
And that’s not a problem—
that’s a shift.

The part that’s uncomfortable is…
you haven’t quite decided what replaces it yet.

So you’re sitting in that in-between space
where nothing fits
but everything’s still there.

Awkward.
Frustrating.

Actually very necessary.

So today isn’t about figuring it all out.

It’s about not rushing yourself out of where you are
just because it feels unfamiliar.

Have a laugh.

Do something easy.

Stop trying to turn today into a breakthrough.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do…

Sometimes it’s not one thing…
it’s everything at once.

An alarm goes off.

Something stops working.

Another interruption.

And before you know it, you’re standing there thinking…
“What am I being alerted to?”

And maybe you are being alerted.
But not in the way you think.

Not something outside of you trying to get your attention…
something inside of you that’s been quietly ignored for a while.

There’s a difference between life “going wrong”
and your system saying:
“This is too much.”

For those of us who:
keep going when we’re exhausted
show up when our body is saying no
give to others even when it costs us
override that inner voice again… and again… and again

Eventually… it doesn’t whisper anymore.

It gets louder.
Not to scare you.
Not to punish you.

To protect you.

Sometimes the “message” isn’t:
✨ Do more
✨ Figure it out
✨ What does this mean?

Sometimes it’s simply:
“You’ve gone past your limit.”

And the hardest part?

You probably already knew.

That moment before you said yes…
when your body hesitated.

That feeling you brushed past.

That quiet “I don’t want to” you ignored.

This isn’t about blame.
It’s about awareness.

Because when you start to recognise it,
you don’t need life to get louder to be heard.

Maybe nothing was going wrong.
Maybe…
your system was just asking you to finally listen.

If breathing, grounding, and “regulating” worked…
you wouldn’t still feel the way you do.

That’s not a dig — it’s an observation.

Because I’m seeing more and more people who know all the tools…
and still feel wired
still feel overwhelmed
still feel stuck in their body

Here’s why:
Most nervous system work is still asking you to do something to yourself.

Breathe differently
Think differently
Calm yourself down
But if your system is already in survival…
being asked to do more
—even gently—
can feel like pressure.

Even if you don’t realise it.

Tri Essence Healing is different.

There’s no trying.
No controlling the breath.
No directing your state.
You’re not asked to regulate.

Instead…
The system is met as it is
And when it finally feels that—
it starts to change on its own.

What I’m seeing in sessions:
• People dropping into a level of stillness they can’t create themselves
• The body releasing without talking through anything
• Breath shifting without guidance
• Heat, movement, subtle corrections — the system reorganising
• Changes that continue after the session, without effort

This isn’t about managing symptoms.
It’s about changing the state that creates them.

Because if the system doesn’t feel safe…
it doesn’t matter how many tools you have.
And if it does feel safe…
it knows exactly what to do.

That’s the difference.

Tri Essence Healing isn’t here to fix you.

It’s here to interrupt what’s been running you.

Not the story.
Not the diagnosis.
Not the version of you that’s learned how to cope.

The pattern underneath it all.

Because most people aren’t stuck…
They’re looping.

The same tension.
The same emotional ceiling.
The same internal pressure that never fully leaves — it just moves location.

Chest → gut → jaw → sleep → thoughts → repeat.

And here’s the part people don’t realise:
Your system doesn’t release just because you understand it.
It releases when it feels safe enough to stop holding.

That’s where TEH is different.

It doesn’t ask your body questions.
It doesn’t force a shift.
It doesn’t dig for trauma.
It meets the exact point your system is organising around…
and changes the environment around it.

Not loudly.
Not dramatically.

But in a way your nervous system recognises instantly:
"I don’t have to hold this the same way anymore."

Sometimes that looks like:
• a breath you didn’t take on purpose
• warmth moving through somewhere that felt shut down
• your body adjusting without you “doing” anything
• emotion… without overwhelm
• or nothing obvious at all — just a quiet shift in the background

And that’s the part people underestimate…

The quiet sessions.

Because that’s often where the system is reorganising at the deepest level —
without needing to perform it.

TEH isn’t about chasing release.

It’s about creating a system that no longer needs to hold in the first place.

It might not need more effort.

It might need a different level of contact.

Not with your mind.

With your system.

Not all emotional overwhelm is “too much emotion.”

Sometimes… it’s a nervous system that doesn’t feel safe.

Especially in neurodivergent bodies.

When your system processes more, faster, deeper —
it’s not just emotional…

it’s sensory, physical, energetic.

It’s the noise that doesn’t switch off.

The conversation that keeps running.

The feeling that your whole system is “on” with no dimmer.

So what looks like:
• overreacting
• shutting down
• irritability
• needing space
• struggling to cope
…is often a system trying to regulate itself the only way it knows how.

Not broken.
Not dramatic.
Not attention-seeking.

Protective.

Managing emotions, for a neurodivergent system, isn’t about controlling feelings.

It’s about creating safety.

Because without safety…
no technique will land.

No mindset will stick.

No “just calm down” will ever work.

Safety might look like:
• stepping away before you hit capacity
• reducing input (not pushing through it)
• having control over your environment
• not being forced to explain yourself mid-overwhelm
• coming back to your body, not your thoughts

This isn’t avoidance.
This is regulation.

And the more your system feels safe…
the less it has to fight to be heard.

You don’t need to become less sensitive.

You need to become more supported.

Most people think they’re “emotional”…
but what they’re actually experiencing is a body that doesn’t feel safe.

Emotional dysregulation is the part you see:
• Snapping when you didn’t mean to
• Crying and not knowing why
• Overthinking, spiralling, needing reassurance
• Feeling “too much” or “not in control”

But physical dysregulation is the part you often miss:
• Tight chest, shallow breathing
• That wired-but-exhausted feeling
• Digestive issues, bloating, nausea
• Restless legs, jaw clenching, headaches
• Feeling on edge for no obvious reason

And here’s the truth most people haven’t been told…
✨️ You can’t think your way out of something your body is holding.

You can understand your patterns.
You can talk about your past.
You can know better…
…but if your nervous system is still in survival,
it will override all of it.

That’s why you can feel calm one minute
and completely hijacked the next.

It’s not that you’re broken.
It’s not that you’re “too emotional.”

Your system just hasn’t learned what safe feels like yet.

And until it does,
it will keep choosing protection over peace.

✨ The shift isn’t in controlling your emotions…
it’s in regulating your body first.

Because when the body feels safe,
the mind follows.

And for the first time,
you don’t have to fight yourself to feel okay ❤️

Not everything needs to mean something today.

Not every feeling needs unpacked.

Not every moment needs turned into growth or healing or a lesson.

You’re allowed a day where you just live.

Laugh at something daft.

Eat something you didn’t plan.

Sit longer than you “should.”

Do nothing useful and not make it a problem.

There’s more to you than progress.

More to life than purpose.

And sometimes the most real thing you can do…
is stop trying to make the moment matter,
and just let it be what it is.

Seven years.

Seven years of walking through the doors at 98 Thornhill Road — not always knowing what the day would bring, but always knowing I would meet it fully.

This space has held so much.
It’s seen the quiet beginnings…
The moments where I doubted.

The moments where I knew.

It’s held hundreds of bodies on the couch — through colonic treatments that changed people’s relationships with their health…

Through Reiki sessions where the nervous system finally exhaled…
Through the birth of something I couldn’t have planned if I tried — Tri Essence Healing.

TEH didn’t come from a strategy.

It came from listening.

From presence.

From trusting what was happening in front of me, over and over again.

This room has witnessed people soften.

Release.

Regulate.

Come back to themselves.

And it’s not just the treatments…
It’s the teaching.

Watching people learn colonic therapy, Reiki, and now stepping into TEH — not just as techniques, but as ways of being.

Seeing that shift in them where it lands… where they feel it… where they become it.

That’s the bit you can’t teach from a manual.

There’s been laughter in here.
Tears.
Frustration.
Breakthroughs that didn’t look like breakthroughs at the time.

There’s been days it felt full of energy and purpose…
And days it felt quiet, slow, uncertain.

But every single one of them mattered.

Because this space has never just been a clinic.

It’s been a container.

A place where people come back into safety — in their body, in themselves.

And if I’m really honest…

It’s done the same for me.

Seven years of growth.
Of learning.
Of unlearning.
Of becoming more present, more grounded, more me.

I’m so grateful.

To every person who has walked through that door.

Trusted me.

Let me be part of their journey.

To every student who has sat and learned, questioned, embodied.

To the space itself — for holding it all.
And to what’s still coming…

Because this doesn’t feel like an ending or even a milestone.

It feels like a foundation.

Shadow work isn’t about fixing yourself…

Because your system was never broken.

From a Tri Essence Healing lens, what we call “the shadow”
is often just the parts of your nervous system
that never felt safe enough to be seen.

Not dark.
Not wrong.
Not something to get rid of.

Just… unmet.

The reactions you judge.

The patterns that keep repeating.

The moments you feel “too much” or “not enough”…

They aren’t flaws.

They are adaptive responses
from a system that learned how to survive
without the safety it needed.

And here’s the truth most people miss—
You don’t heal those parts by analysing them.

You don’t release them by forcing awareness.

You heal them
when your body finally experiences something different:
safety.
presence.
being met without judgement.

Because when the nervous system feels safe enough…
It doesn’t need to hide anymore.
It doesn’t need to react the same way.

It doesn’t need to protect you from something that’s no longer happening.

That’s where real shadow work happens.

Not in the mind.
In the body.
Not in fixing.
In allowing.

Not in becoming someone new—
but in creating the conditions
where who you’ve always been
can finally come forward.

This is the work.
Not chasing healing…
…but becoming safe enough

Saying “this time will be different”… and it isn’t.

That’s the part nobody talks about.

Change doesn’t happen in the mind.

It happens when your system feels safe enough to choose something new.

That’s the work inside Know Your Soul.

Not surface-level advice.
Not “just think positive”.
Real awareness.
Real shifts.
In real time.
