As this year comes to a close, we have taken a moment to reflect on just how far this journey has come.

From where we started to where the clinic stands today — we are honestly overwhelmed with gratitude.

What began as a vision has grown into something so much bigger than we could ever have imagined.

Expanding the clinic, leaving my NHS post of 23 years, welcoming new practitioners, supporting them as they grow in confidence and skill, and stepping into my role as a leader has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey with the following amazing practitioners on board:

A day in the life of me, an Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber ............

Everyone sees the finished faces, the glow ups and the before & afters… but there’s so much that happens behind the scenes that never makes it to Instagram.

My day starts long before the first patient walks through the door. Setting up clinic, checking stock, preparing treatment rooms and making sure everything is exactly as it should be — because safety and standards are never negotiable.

We begin every day with a safety huddle. We talk through the day’s patients, planned treatments, medical histories, risks, expectations and contingencies. It’s not glamorous, but it’s one of the most important parts of what we do.

A huge part of my role is building relationships — not just with patients, but with the incredible team around me. Supporting colleagues, mentoring nurses, answering questions, sharing knowledge and making sure everyone feels confident and supported to deliver exceptional care.

Between appointments there’s prescribing, paperwork, treatment planning, consent forms, follow-ups and constant communication. It’s clinical, it’s detailed, and it requires full focus — even when the clinic is buzzing.

Being an aesthetic nurse prescriber isn’t just about injecting. It’s about leadership, responsibility, patient safety, teamwork and trust. The results you see are built on hours of preparation, conversations and care you never see.

And honestly? That’s the part I’m most proud of 🤍

Aesthetica Medical Cosmetics is an independent nurse led aesthetics and wellbeing clinic offering a wide range of medical and non-medical treatments.

My name is Cherise and I am the owner and advanced aesthetics nurse/Independent Nurse Prescriber in my aesthetics business. I am member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and is also a member of both the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and Aesthetic Complication Expert group ( ACE).

With 17 years of experience in Advanced nursing practice, I have built my little aesthetics business from my career in nursing and have the knowledge & skill mindset in consultations, prescribing and diagnostics. I have been trained in Aesthetic practice for just over 2 years now and I am continually striving for high standards in my care and customer service so much so that I ensure that I research and keep my training up to date frequently. On a daily basis I am effectively improving safety and delivering excellent clinical care to ensure my patients journey is an enjoyable one! As I'm a bit of a perfectionist my care to you starts from the minute you attend your first appointment and will continue to offer advice and support post procedures as long as you require. My approach to care is about each individuals needs whether that be physical or emotional.
