Thursday Weight Reduction and Health Tip
The food pyramid (see pic) has been used as official, nutritional and lifestyle advice for decades now
During that time, obesity has skyrocketed, diabetes has exploded (even for children) and heart disease and cancers have risen massively.
The food pyramid has been the ruination of the health of western people.
The pyramid shows that you "should" eat mainly a high carbohydrate, low fat diet, consisting of genetically-modified gains, with lots of "healthy" cereals and pasta, plus other grains.
Take that pyramid, and turn it upside down.
Eat healthy fats, protein foods and lots of veg, and severely limit those garbage grains/carbs, and you will find that:
- Your digestive health is a million times better (no more Gaviscon)
- Your daily energy is much better, plus much more stable (no more spikes and lethargy)
- Your skin health is way better.
- You eradicate skin blemishes like eczema, psoriasis and other sores
- Your concentration is much more focused (no more brain fog)
- You get much trimmer round the middle (no more blood sugar spiking, causing insulin releases - insulin is "the fat storing hormone")
- Your joints feel way better (no more arthritic agony and stiffness).
- Your blood sugar normalises, from diabetes type ii level, or pre-diabetes, due to you no longer spiking your blood sugar via all of those crappy, refined carbs.
- You feel satiated, because fats keep you satiated for much longer than proteins and carbs (carbs don't satiate you).
Turn that food pyramid upside down, and have awesome health, energy and a life free from illness, bloating, lethargy and inflammation.
