Agree with the following? Like my post ❤️

This week was tough! Nothing went as planned, I was drowning in work, and I hadn’t slept well for days, almost weeks - thanks to a mix of perimenopausal issues and my spider phobia (I seem to have an invasion of them in my house🕷😬️). I felt alone and had no energy. I didn’t cook properly as I usually would do, didn’t exercise my usual time, and had no real "me time" - all in all, I didn’t take care of myself.

I think we all have days or weeks like this. But the question is: how do we deal with them? In the past, I would’ve given up on my goals - like losing weight, cooking properly, doing my exercise, etc. I would have thought, 'What’s the point? I can’t be consistent or strong enough and I am weak anyway."

But now, I have tools at hand. And I know every day, even every meal, is a new chance. It’s okay to pause or have a slip because we're all human - you are not weak because of this. BUT get up again, and keep moving with self-love and patience. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to reach your goal. It's just important to move forward - and also baby steps are steps, remember this😍

I know, it can feel tempting to cut out carbs when you’re trying to lose weight, especially with so many diets out there making carbs the enemy. But trust me, going completely low-carb isn’t the key to feeling your best or reaching your goals, especially when cutting out whole grain carbs. Here’s why:

1 - "Healthy" carbs fuel your brain 🧠
Your brain needs glucose (which comes from carbs) to function properly. When you cut out carbs, you might notice feeling foggy, tired, or even moody. No one wants to feel like that all day, right?

2 - "Healthy" carbs give you energy 💪
Carbs are your body's primary source of energy. When you fuel your body the right way, you have the energy to work out, keep up with your day, and still feel good by the time you unwind at night.

3 - "Healthy" carbs help you feel satisfied 🍝
Cutting carbs can lead to feeling deprived and hungry all the time, which often leads to overeating later. The goal isn’t to restrict yourself, but to find balance and eating the healthy carbs. When you include healthy carbs like whole grains, veggies, and fruits, they help you stay fuller for longer, making it easier to stick to your healthy habits.

So instead of cutting carbs entirely, let’s focus on the quality of the carbs you’re eating. It’s not about extremes - it’s about finding what makes you feel satisfied, energized, and mentally sharp. Let’s chat in the comments: How do you feel about carbs? Have you tried cutting them before?

How we see ourselves can feel like the hardest part of the journey, right? If you could change one thing about how you see yourself, what would it be? Feel free to share - I'd love to hear your thoughts. Sometimes, just opening up can be the first step toward showing ourselves a little more kindness💕

If you’re going through menopause or perimenopause, you’ve probably noticed your body doesn’t respond the way it used to. Weight gain, especially around the belly, becomes frustratingly common as your metabolism slows down. I get it—I’m in the middle of it too. Even when we’re doing everything right—eating well, staying active—it can feel like nothing works.

The truth is, our bodies are changing, and that’s normal. Hormonal shifts affect everything from how we store fat to our energy levels. But that doesn’t mean we’re helpless. There are things we can do to support our bodies through these changes, and it starts with understanding what’s really going on.

For me, it is about finding balance—eating nourishing foods, moving in ways that feel good (not punishing), and focusing on sleep and stress. It’s not about extreme diets or trying to control every detail. It’s about giving our bodies what they need, with kindness and patience.

I know first hand, it’s hard sometimes, but this doesn’t have to be a battle. We deserve to feel good in our skin, even through these shifts.

✨ If you’re struggling with this too or just want to talk about what’s working (or not working), message me or drop a comment. You don’t have to figure this out alone. 💬👇

As you begin a new week, let’s take a moment to reflect on what’s been holding you back to reach your goals. Is it those habits you can’t seem to shake? The self-sabotage that sneaks in when you're trying so hard to move forward? 💭

What if this week, you allowed ourselves to let go of what no longer serves you? Imagine the space you could create for the things that lift you up - whether it’s healthier choices, a more positive mindset, or simply a bit of self-kindness. 👐💫

It’s not about perfection - it’s about progress. Sometimes, all it takes is deciding to release the old patterns, even just for today. What are you ready to let go of this week ahead of you? 🌟 Let me know in the comments 💖

When we’re caught in the loop of self-sabotage, weight struggles, and the emotional weight that comes with it, it can feel like an uphill battle that we have to face alone. The truth is, many of us have been conditioned to think that asking for help means we’re weak, or that we should be able to figure things out on our own. But that’s simply not true!

The cycles of self-sabotage and frustration can run deep, and when you're in that space, it's so easy to feel like there's no way out. But what if I told you that reaching out for support doesn't make you weak? It makes you brave. It means you’re acknowledging that you’re human, that sometimes the burden is too heavy to carry alone, and that’s okay.

Having someone - whether it’s a friend, family member, or someone who's been where you are - can give you a perspective that’s hard to find when you’re deep in the struggle. Sometimes just hearing, “I understand” can shift everything, allowing you to see the steps forward more clearly. It's not about finding someone to "fix" things for you, but about having someone beside you to listen, to care, and to remind you that you are not alone in this journey.

So, if you're feeling overwhelmed or lost, please know that it's okay to reach out. You don't have to do this on your own. You deserve support, and I’m here for you when you need it. 🌿💛
