🎯 Beat the Goalie Fun at Airthrey! ⚽

Our residents had a brilliant time getting active and having a laugh with a friendly game of Beat the Goalie! 🥅

There were cheers, smiles, and even a few surprise saves — it’s always lovely to see everyone getting involved and enjoying themselves.

A big thank you to our amazing colleagues for supporting these moments and helping create such a fun atmosphere.

Two posts in one day… which can only mean it’s been a very busy couple of months here at Meallmore and across our 27 care homes. Plenty happening, plenty to share - and no signs of slowing down yet!

This one just couldn’t wait...

Last month, our colleagues, residents, families and local communities laced up their trainers for the Meallmore Walks 1,000 Miles Challenge… and absolutely smashed it.

✅ 7,000 miles walked
✅ £7,000 raised
✅ All in just 7 days

Every step, lap, and stroll was in aid of Cancer Research UK, a cause close to so many hearts across our homes. From beach walks to garden circuits and fancy dress laps to sunset strolls, the creativity and enthusiasm were off the scale.

A huge thank you to every person who got involved, whether you clocked one mile or one hundred, donated, or simply cheered from the sidelines.

🤠🌞 Yee-Haw for Summer Fun at Airthrey! 🌞🤠

Get ready to saddle up for a rootin’-tootin’ good time at Airthrey’s Summer Rodeo on Saturday, 17th August 2025, from 1pm – 4pm! 🎉🐴🎈

We’re bringing the Wild West spirit to Airthrey Care Home with an afternoon full of laughter, games, entertainment, and community fun. Expect live music, tasty treats, and maybe even a few cowboys and cowgirls in the mix! 😉🍦🎶

It’s the perfect chance for families, friends, and our local community to join us in celebrating summer together. So dust off your boots and come along—we can’t wait to welcome you!

🌟🏃♀️ Steps for a Cause – Supporting Mental Health Together! 🏃♂️🌟

We’re incredibly proud to share that Airthrey Care Home has raised a fantastic £400 in support of the Falkirk Mental Health Association 💙👏

Earlier this year, our amazing colleagues laced up their trainers and took part in the 5k Kelpies Supernova, lighting up the route with passion, purpose, and a whole lot of heart 💫🦶

This achievement means so much to us—not only did it bring our team together, but it also helps shine a light on the importance of mental health and wellbeing in our community.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our efforts—you made every step count!

Our ladies had a fantastic outing to the local park to watch the school sports day, soaking up the lively atmosphere and cheering on the talented young athletes! 🎉👏

It was a joyful experience, filled with fresh air, laughter, and plenty of heart-warming moments. Watching the enthusiasm and energy of the students was truly inspiring! 💙
