We had an amazing time marking International Men’s Day with plenty of fun and laughter! 🌟

Our residents enjoyed playing “manly” games and indulging in some delicious “manly” cakes - a perfect way to celebrate and share good times together. 💜

🧀🍷 Cheese & Wine Tasting Afternoon at Airthrey Care Home 🍷🧀

Our residents and their families recently enjoyed a delightful afternoon of cheese and wine tasting - and it was more than just delicious! 😋

With score cards in hand, everyone got involved in rating the visual appeal, aroma, flavour, and texture of a variety of cheeses and wines. It was a fantastic way to spark conversation, share opinions, and enjoy a sensory experience together.

A lovely afternoon filled with laughter, learning, and lots of tasty treats! 💫

Our residents had a lovely time making their very own Rocky Road as a sweet treat for Bonfire Night! 🍬🍪

It was a fun and delicious activity, filled with smiles, chocolate and plenty of marshmallows - the perfect way to celebrate the season together 💖✨

🦎📸 ZooLab Visit – Part 2! 🐢✨

The excitement continued at Airthrey as our residents enjoyed even more animal encounters during ZooLab’s visit! 🐾💚

From curious creatures to fascinating facts, everyone had a brilliant time getting up close and personal with our furry, scaly and shelled guests. These sessions always spark smiles, stories and a sense of wonder! 😊🕷️

Thank you again to ZooLab for bringing the magic of nature into our home - we’re already looking forward to the next adventure!

🦎🐍 A Special Visit from ZooLab! 🐢🕷️

We had a little surprise at Airthrey when ZooLab popped in for a visit - and what a treat it was! 🐾💚

Residents had the chance to meet some fascinating creatures up close, sparking curiosity, conversation and lots of smiles. These interactive sessions are always a hit and bring such joy to our care home community! 😊✨

🌺🎨 Crafting for Remembrance Sunday at Airthrey 🖌️🧡

Our residents have been busy getting creative in preparation for Remembrance Sunday, making their very own poppy pins to honour and remember those who served ❤️🌺

We experimented with two different styles - delicate paper poppies and beautifully moulded clay ones - to see which worked best. Each one was made with care and meaning, and they look absolutely lovely!

Part 2: Sensory Surprises & Smiles! 🧺✨

One of the highlights of our Halloween celebration was the sensory boxes in our Pet Cemetery room!

Residents, families, and colleagues all joined in the fun — reaching into mystery boxes filled with curious textures and playful surprises. 🎁👐

There were lots of laughs, a few surprised faces, and plenty of joyful moments as everyone explored the different sensations together.

A wonderful way to spark conversation and connection!

We celebrated Halloween in style this year at Airthrey!

Our residents, colleagues, and families came together for a frightfully fun time in our specially themed Pet Cemetery sensory room. 🧡
