New Moon Journal & Sound Bath
🙏🌙

Sunday 18th January, 4.30-6pm ✨

Set intentions. Soften inward. Re-emerge.

The New Moon invites stillness and a quiet pause to reflect, release, and gently plant new intentions.

In this nourishing session, you’ll be guided through a journaling practice to clear space and connect with with intentions, followed by a deeply restorative sound bath. Crystal bowls, vocal work and other grounding sounds help calm the nervous system, support release, and allow your intentions to settle in the mind and body.

This session is ideal if you’re craving a gentle reset, deep rest, and time to realign at the start of a new lunar cycle.

Sneaking in some moments with my voice before my students arrive 🙌

When we use our voice through chanting or singing, we’re not just making sound, we’re creating deep vibration throughout the body ✨

These gentle internal vibrations can support calming the nervous system and help release tension in the throat, chest, and heart space.

Singing and chanting also deepen the breath, and activate the vagus nerve , our body’s pathway to more relaxation and healing 🪷

I'm excited to be sharing a Strength exploration & Chaturanga Workshop on Sunday 23rd November ✨

Chaturanga — the yoga push-up — is one of the most repeated poses in Vinyasa, yet often the most misunderstood. This is a workshop designed to help you build strength, stability, and confidence — both in Chaturanga and throughout your practice.

We’ll explore:
• Safe alignment + shoulder protection
• Strength drills for arms, core + back
• Progressions + modifications for all bodies
~ Finding what feels supportive and sustainable for you.

Expect a balance of technique, movement, and mindful strength building. You’ll leave the session with tools to move safely, with more awareness and power in your practice.

10.00-12 noon
No equipment needed, just bring you!

This class is suitable for those with a regular yoga practice (not complete beginners) please reach out with any queries on this 🙏

Autumn Mantra Sound Bath: 🕉️

🍂�As we shift into the slower rhythm of autumn, join Maddie at Anella Studio for a deeply grounding sound experience centered around the timeless practice of traditional Hindu and Buddhist mantra.

For thousands of years, Sanskrit mantras have been chanted as a way to support the quieting of the mind and connect to something deeper. At the heart of this session is the harmonium, a beloved instrument brought to India in the 19th century, now a central part of devotional and meditative music.

Maddie has been playing and singing traditional mantras for over 10 years. Her offerings are deeply rooted in her Yoga practice & teaching, musical background, and years of travel, and she is passionate about sharing them as a meditative and heart opening practice.

During the session you’ll be held in a soundscape of:�

- Traditional mantra with harmonium�
- Soulful live vocals� 🎶
- Crystal singing bowls� ✨
- Meditative guitar

We'll also close the session with connecting in sound, chanting a traditional mantra together 🎶

Sometimes life brings you in a full circle, and straight back home.

Following love, letting go of love, coming right back to love. Breaking the heart. Refilling the heart.

This year has been full of change and with it what feels like a million emotions. There's been Growth, adventures, grief, shedding, letting go, fear, surrender, patience. - flowing like many oceans

Life happens.

Now
Has been a time for growing and nurturing connections, with myself, family & friends. Of singing, surfing, dancing, laughing, crying, skating, cooking, meditating, breathing the heartbreak slowly away. Of committing to daily practice in all its forms. Refilling the cup. Prioritising the things that serve the soul. The belly laughs, smiles with good friends, embracing a loved one, a morning sunrise, picking wild flowers, sea swimming in glittery bays, the smell of homemade chai cooking on the stove, a hand hold of my beautiful niece.

The small wins , the heart healers.

Of stepping lightly in nature, and blooming with the blossoms of spring and summertime. Of rising with the sun and honouring my dark. Of learning lessons and finding patience in my practice. Of reminding myself that it's enough to just be.

How often do we all need to remind ourselves that it's enough to just be?

Stepping lightly, with a fearless heart, full of love into a new chapter.

Last week teaching Surf Flow & Strength conditioning training for 🌊

Absolutely loved hosting this session - even after a little rejig of our planned outdoor location because of cornish rain arriving last minute (of course!) 🌧️

We had a morning full of learning new movements and shapes, lots of laughs, and met some amazing surf ladies 🌊
