Marcus and Sophie are taking on the Pedal for Patients Tour de Kernow in aid of Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity.

The 3 day cycling event covers 200 miles and tours the three main hospital sites in Cornwall from Truro to St Austell and down to Penzance.

We would be grateful for any donation to support this fantastic charity that helps patients and NHS staff locally here in Cornwall.

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity enhances facilities at our local hospitals and helps support outstanding patient care right here in Cornwall.

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity has recently funded:

- Upgrades to the MRI suite
- Stroke specialist equipment
- Emergency equipment for the trauma response car

We’re hiring!

We are advertising for an optical receptionist at our Falmouth practice to cover maternity leave (a permanent contract is available).

Do you love to help others? Are you friendly and out-going? Are you organised and efficient?...Yes? Then join our family-run team!

As an optical receptionist, you will be the 1st point of contact for the majority of our patients, providing excellent customer service skills, whilst being in charge of the practice diaries and keeping the practice ship-shape.

You will work alongside optometrists and dispensing opticians within a supportive team.

Previous customer service experience and IT skills are essential.

The role is for 37.5 hours/week, and includes two Saturday mornings 9am-1pm per month. No Sunday or bank holiday working.
