🚴‍♂️ We Did It! ☀️❤️

We’re so proud to say that we have now completed our 630-mile cycling challenge here at Roscarrack House! 👏

For our final mile, we headed outside in the sunshine, where one of our lovely residents took us over the finish line whilst residents and staff cheered her on 🚴‍♀️

Thanks to everyone’s incredible support, we’ve raised an astounding £660 for Red Nose Day — we are truly so grateful to everyone who donated, supported, and took part along the way.

This has been an amazing team effort from staff, residents and everyone involved, and we couldn’t have done it without you all.

🚴‍♂️ Final Day – The Last Push! 🌤️❤️

It’s the final day of our 630-mile cycling challenge at Roscarrack House, and the sun is trying to make an appearance as we head towards the finish line!

We’ve already raised an amazing £620, and we’re so grateful for all the support so far.

🚴‍♂️ We’re in the Final Stretch! ❤️

Our 630-mile Red Nose Day challenge at Roscarrack House is nearly complete, and what a journey it’s been!

With just two days remaining, we’ve got around 42 miles left to cycle before we hit our target. The finish line is in sight, and the determination from everyone involved has been incredible.

This challenge has brought together staff, residents and visitors, all playing their part to keep the wheels turning. From early mornings to late evenings — and even time given up on days off — the commitment has been amazing to see.

We’re so grateful for the support and donations so far, and honestly blown away by the generosity. As we head into these final miles, we’re hoping to give one last push and raise even more for such a great cause.

🚴‍♂️ Red Nose Day Challenge Update – End of Day 6! ❤️

As we come to the end of day six of our 630-mile cycling challenge here at Roscarrack House, we’re excited to say we are now over halfway through our journey! 👏

It’s been fantastic to see residents, staff and visitors all getting involved, taking turns on the exercise bike to keep the miles ticking over.

We are also astounded by the amount we have raised so far and incredibly grateful for everyone’s support. However, we’re determined to keep pushing and raise even more before we reach the finish line.

With just 6 full days left to complete the challenge, we’re focused on keeping the momentum going and reaching our 630-mile goal! 💛

🚴‍♂️ Red Nose Day Challenge Update – Start of Day 4! ❤️

We’re just starting day four of our 630-mile cycling challenge here at Roscarrack House, and the team have already made fantastic progress!

So far, we’ve covered 224 miles on the exercise bike thanks to our amazing staff who have been taking turns, supporting each other, and keeping the pedals turning. We even had a staff member dressed as a mouse 🐭 chasing cheese 🧀 to keep spirits high!

It’s also been wonderful to see our residents getting involved. Many have been following our progress, cheering the team on, and some have even hopped on the bike themselves to help add a few miles to the total! 🚴‍♀️

That means we now have just 406 miles left to reach our 630-mile finish line 😰, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going today!

🚴‍♂️ Day 2 of Our 630 Mile Challenge! ❤️

We’re now on day two of our Red Nose Day cycling challenge here at Roscarrack House, and the team have already made an amazing start!

In just 24 hours, our staff have worked together and taken turns on the exercise bike to cover an incredible 117 miles, and we’ve already raised £195 for this fantastic cause! 👏

It’s been a real team effort, with staff supporting each other to keep the miles ticking over while our residents cheer us on and track our progress along the way.

We’ve also had some lovely visitors pop in to support us, even jumping on the bike themselves to donate their time and miles towards the challenge, which has been fantastic to see! 🚴‍♀️

But we’re not finished yet — we still have plenty of miles to go on our 630-mile journey! Every donation helps keep us motivated and makes a real difference.

🚴‍♂️ 630 MILES. ONE TEAM. ONE COAST. ❤️

The team at Roscarrack House are taking on a big challenge for Red Nose Day!

We’re aiming to cycle 630 miles on an exercise bike — but no one is doing it alone. This will be a team effort, with everyone taking turns on the bike until we reach the full 630 miles together. Every mile pedalled helps us raise money and make a real difference.

Our residents will be cheering us on and tracking our progress throughout the challenge, and some of them may even hop on the bike and pedal a few miles themselves! 🚴‍♀️

📅 Start Date: Sunday 8th March
⏱ Finish: We’ll keep going until we complete the full 630 miles!
📍 Location: Roscarrack House

Hip hip hooray! 🎉

Anne-Marie is celebrating 20 amazing years as a carer at Roscarrack House and we couldn’t be prouder!

For two decades she has brought kindness, laughter, comfort and care to our residents every single day. What an incredible achievement!

To mark this special milestone, Anne-Marie was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers 💐 and a certificate in recognition of her dedication and long service.
