🎥🍿 Well Saturday night was Wicked night!!! 🎥🍿

We visited Cineworld Whiteley in Fareham to watch the long awaited Wicked!

We’d left it quite late to get tickets but we managed to find some Comfortable seats all together toward the back of the cinema which is our preferred place to sit costing approx £34 for 4 tickets 🎟️🎟️🎟️🎟️

We opted to get a large Pepsi & Large Sweet Popcorn for £12 🥤🍿but I also like the idea of the children’s much box for &4.60 which next time I may treat them too.

Mr South Coast and the kids are regular visitors to the cinema and so for next year I’m getting them the unlimited watch cards as they have seen at least 12 movies this year already! 🫣🍿🎥🎟️😝

The movie itself was incredible, so much fun and so much emotion! It lasted almost 3 hours which I didn’t expect so I was greatful for the spacious seats and space so I could move as I was starting to experience a bit of pain.

All in all it was such a great movie and we loved it! Roll on next week for Moana 2!

🅿️ Free parking at Whiteley for 4 hours, £2.20 after that (pay through an app) which gives you an additional 4 hours I believe
♿️ Whitely itself is accessible everywhere which is handy with lots of disabled parking. The Cinema has a lift from downstairs to up so no issues, disabled toilets as you’d expect and assistance all the way through to your seat if you need it.

This week we visited Shepton Mallett Carnival 🪅🎉

We’ve never done carnival before and we made the trip down to Somerset to enjoy Shepton Mallett as this is the closest Somerset town to us on the South Coast.

We stayed overnight in the town centre using booking.com and found an apartment for a reasonable price.

We were planning to eat out at a pub but ended up grabbing a dominos as we didn’t know the area very well and struggled to find somewhere open that would fill the children up.

We spent sometime in the small town exploring the shops and stopping for coffee.

We headed out to the carnival for 7:30pm and I wrongly expected it to all be done by 8:30 🫣 it was not! It went on until 10pm and was just amazing! we will 100% be going again to one of the carnivals next year.

All in all it was a brilliant experience and one we won’t miss in 2025!
