Happy Sunday 🥰
I love this post below 👇
I think 🤔 we put too much pressure on ourselves, to lead the perfect life.
During my antenatal classes we look at the physical & emotional similarities between having a cesarean birth vs Vaginal.
Biggest clarity the tiger stripes no matter which way you birth your baby & moving from maidenhood to motherhood but this isn't the case for all women.
The same tiger stripes can become from having gained weight, reduced that weight or just by not having enough elasticity in your skin.
But what I have come to learn is that our outer vessel does not reflect the inner work that has been done ✅ or is still needed to be done 👍
That's why I created Everlasting Circles ⭕ with Marie.
A space where you can come and express yourself, go within, reflect, learn, discover, become, in a space where the women that come get it.
We listen with respect, no need to judge, no need to fix because we are not broken, we just need to learn and accept who we are & for some of us that needs space & that takes time.
If you feel called to sit with us, feel held, be nurtured, then please come & join us in circle ⭕ this Tuesday 19.00- 21.00hrs. Gratitude £15.00.
DM for address or more details. We would love to welcome you. 🥰
Have a beautiful day.x
THE SACRED BEAUTY OF AGING
There is a story written on our skin.
Not the Story of loss, as we were taught to believe.
But the Story of becoming.
The lines around our eyes are not mistakes. They are Rivers carved by laughter, by tears, by moments when life cracked us open and demanded we Loved deeper.
The softening of our skin is not a betrayal, it is a gift, a Body that has learned to hold more Love, more tenderness, more truth.
We were told to fear this process. To fight it. To hide it. To inject it and to deny it.
As if youth was the only currency of worth, the only currency of desire and pleasure.
But what if aging is not about losing BEauty…
What if aging is the sacred act of remembering who we really are?
As our skin loosens, so do we. don't we? When we allow ourself that...
We release the tightness of expectations, the pressure to be perfect, the suffocating masks we once wore to fit in.
TheBody mirrors the Soul: what was once held so tightly can finally relax.
We no longer need to prove ourselves.
We are learning to rest into the Woman we have always been becoming.
We are invited to stand in a new kind of Light. A deeper radiance.
Not the shine that comes from gloss and surface, but the radiance that rises from deep within. A radiance of stories.
The glow of wisdom, of scars turned into Medicine, of mistakes alchemized into strength.
WE become more raw, more real, more magnetic. MORE WILD!
This is the beauty that cannot be bottled or bought or injected.
It is the beauty of freedom.
Aging as a woman is an act of rebellion in a World that worships eternal youth. A slick saless trick, invented by companies that make mountains of money and status
It is saying: I will not disappear. I will not shrink. I will not apologize for becoming myself.
It is standing in the mirror, touching the lines, the softness, the stories, the battles fought... and whispering: Thank you. You are me. And I love you.
Sisters, this is the invitation...
Not to fade, but to finally burn with the fire of authenticity.
Not to cover up, but to reveal. HERE I AM!
Not to strive for who we think we should be, but to embody who we are. ANd with that show the way to the younger generations.
To every woman stepping into her her sacred maturity:
May you see yourself as the temple you are.
May you walk with pride in the stories your body carries.
May you know that aging is not the end of beauty, it is its deepest unfolding.
Because the truth is...
You are not becoming less.
You are becoming more.
