Furnished to the very highest of standards, it offers a homely yet luxurious environment, with all residents having en-suite rooms. The home offers excellent facilities, including a hair and beauty salon and bright café, perfect for residents and their families. Externally, there are beautifully landscaped sensory gardens. Parker Meadows also has six bungalows for residents who want to retain their independence, whilst still enjoying the facilities and services provided in the main building of the care home.

103 YEARS OLD !!! One of the residents, an ex RM Commando celebrated his birthday in style today. We were privileged to have had the Royal Marines band serenade not only the ‘birthday boy’ but also the residents. What a show;not only for the Royal Marines supporting an ex colleague but the residents were thrilled by the talent. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon tea served afterwards too 🎉🎉🎉

Just back from Parker Meadows where we spent a delightful afternoon celebrating Christmas with the residents 🎶🌲🎊

The residents always love to sing along with us and today hearing them join in with Silent Night was beautiful!

It really was like being at the Theatre for them with the Lounge full not only with residents but family visitors too. By the end of the Show we all celebrated with party songs and staff joined in with the Okey Cokey and Slade. Brilliant! Loved the festive spirit and thank you everyone for your lovely Christmas wishes. Happy Christmas to you all 🤶🎅👏👏👏👏👏

Can YOU help Cash for Kids ? Following our last post, we are now a COLLECTION POINT for them (until Thursday 18th Dec) They are desperately seeking NEW gifts for teenagers in particular !! Just drop them off at our reception area and they will do the rest. This is for local kids who would normally not get a gift at Xmas. Think hot water bottles, rucksacks, scarves, gloves, make up,, board games, headphones etc.
