Whilst the residents were occupied with our entertainer earlier, I managed to get a few photos of the newly hatched chicks 🐣
The residents are thrilled to have seen them hatch, and are continually checking in on them as the chicks start to become more curious and mobile.

PAT dog ‘cookie’ spent most of the morning visiting some of the residents. PAT dogs help improve mental health, offers affection, lowers anxiety and boosts moods & enhances social interaction 🐶🐾🐶

The residents really look forward to their regular Monday morning ‘boxercise’ class, which helps with muscle strengthening and balance. Physcial activity along with balance & muscle strengthening exercise does help reduce the risk of falls.

It’s competitive, it can be thirsty work (hence the sherry/beer on offer - non alcoholic drinks are available too 😊😬😊) and importantly it brings the residents from all 3 floors together. It’s Bingo time !!
