🚒🔥 **Fire Safety in Action!** 🔥🚒

Today our amazing team, along with our sister home - Kiln Lodge, swapped their care hats for fire helmets (well… not literally 😄) as we took part in our annual fire safety training. Everyone had the chance to get hands-on with the fire extinguishers — and we’re pleased to report that both staff *and* eyebrows survived the experience!

At Willow Tree Lodge & Kiln Lodge safety is always our top priority, and days like today mean our team is even more prepared to keep our residents safe and sound. A big thank you to everyone who took part — you handled those extinguishers like pros! 👏

A huge thank you to our wonderful in-house chef, our amazing staff, and the kind relatives who baked and donated so many delicious cakes for this morning’s Macmillan Coffee Morning. 🍰☕

Together, we raised an incredible £146.35 in support of this fantastic cause! 🎉👏

🐹💛 A Visit from Steve the Guinea Pig! 💛🐹

Today we had a very special guest — Steve the guinea pig! 🥕 His cuddles, soft fur, and gentle squeaks brought so much joy and comfort to our residents. There were lots of smiles and plenty of strokes… Steve was thoroughly spoiled with love (and a few tasty treats too!).

It’s amazing how much happiness a little furry friend can bring. Thank you, Steve, for brightening our day! 🌟

Today our home was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of singing as we enjoyed a wonderful sing-along with Debs. 🎤💖 The classics had everyone tapping their feet, clapping their hands, and joining in with great enthusiasm.

Music always brings us together, and today’s session was no exception — such a joyful atmosphere! Thank you, Debs, for brightening our day. 🌟
