✨ Looking Ahead to 2026 ✨

Today, we spent some lovely time chatting with our residents about their hopes and wishes for 2026 – and the answers made us smile. 💬❤️

Some wished for good health and happiness, others hoped for more days out, tasty meals, laughter with friends, and plenty of music and activities to enjoy. 🎶🍰🚐
A few simply said they’d like to “keep smiling” and “enjoy each day as it comes” – which we think is a wonderful goal. 🌼

Thank you to our residents for sharing their thoughts with us. Your voices help shape everything we do, and we can’t wait to make 2026 a year full of care, comfort, and special moments together. 💖

✨ A Truly Tasty Evening at Our Care Home ✨

Tonight our residents were treated to a delightful dining experience that went down an absolute treat. A classic prawn cocktail, fresh and full of flavour, started the evening perfectly, followed by a sumptuous chocolate muffin that was rich, comforting, and simply irresistible 🍫

There were plenty of smiles around the toom, happy chatter, and lots of compliments for the kitchen — it’s safe to say our residents thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Moments like these, shared over good food, make our evenings extra special ❤️

🥐✨ Fresh out of the oven and oh-so-indulgent! ✨🥐

This morning our home was filled with the most wonderful bakery aromas as we enjoyed our very first morning elevenses of 2026 💛
These golden, flaky pain au chocolat were absolute perfection – that satisfying crunch followed by warm, melty chocolate bliss 🤤

A huge thank you to Vicki, our talented chef, for starting the year in the most delicious way. What a treat to enjoy together and a lovely moment of comfort, conversation, and smiles all round ☕🥐

Here’s to many more cosy, tasty moments in 2026!

✨ Boxing Day Treats at Willow Tree Lodge ✨

Our Boxing Day celebrations were made extra special thanks to the incredible treats lovingly prepared by our wonderful chef, Vicki.

Residents were spoilt with delicious Christmas pudding chocolate shortbread, followed by a beautiful seafood medley served with chips — a real Boxing Day favourite!

The dessert trolley was truly something to behold, offering a mouth-watering selection including lemon tart, profiteroles, raspberry cheesecake, Christmas pudding and classic mince pies. There was something for everyone, and plenty of smiles all round.

A huge thank you to Vicki for creating such a thoughtful and indulgent spread — it was enjoyed just as much as it was admired. Boxing Day at Willow Tree Lodge was full of good food, good company and happy hearts ✨

🎄 Christmas Morning at Willow Tree Lodge 🎄

Christmas morning was truly magical here at Willow Tree Lodge. Helping our residents open their gifts, seeing their smiles, sharing laughter, enjoying beautiful dining, dancing together and simply being in each other’s company reminded us all what this special day is really about.

The room was filled with warmth, friendship and so many precious moments that we will treasure for a long time. From the joy of opening presents to sitting down together for lunch, it was a day full of love, connection and laughter.

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all our families for giving us the privilege of spending Christmas Day with your loved ones. It means more than words can say to be trusted with such a special time, and we are truly grateful to be part of your extended family.
