This afternoon, our residents enjoyed a wonderful time singing along with David! 🎶🎤

The room was filled with music, smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe tapping as everyone joined in with some well-loved songs. Music always brings back such lovely memories and creates such a happy atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

A big thank you to David for another fantastic afternoon of entertainment — we are already looking forward to the next singalong! ❤️

On Saturday, some of our lovely residents enjoyed a morning of baking and made delicious rice crispy cakes! 🍫🧁

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and of course a few sneaky chocolate sprinkles along the way! Everyone had a wonderful time getting involved, sharing memories of baking at home, and enjoying a tasty treat afterwards.

This morning our residents enjoyed a fantastic fitness session with Ross! 💪😊

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and movement as everyone joined in with the exercises, helping to keep both minds and bodies active. Activities like these are such a wonderful way to promote wellbeing, confidence, and social interaction for our residents.

🌟 International Nurses Day at Willow Tree Lodge 🌟

This week we are celebrating and thanking our amazing nurses for the compassion, kindness and dedication they show each and every day to our residents and their families. 💚

International Nurses Day is celebrated on the 12th of May each year, as it marks the birthday of the founder of modern nursing, Florence Nightingale. Her passion, care and commitment continue to inspire nurses around the world today. 🕯️

To show our appreciation, throughout the week our nurses are invited to enjoy a complimentary bacon bap and a cup of tea or coffee from the kitchen each morning ☕🥓

We also have a special conservatory area where staff can relax, help themselves to a snack for later, and collect a small card as a token of our gratitude. 💌

Thank you to every single one of our wonderful nurses for everything you do — your care truly makes such a difference every day. ❤️

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking housekeeper to join our team for 15–18 hours per week.

🕒 Working hours:
• 8:00am – 1 or 2pm
or
• 9:00am – 2 or 3pm

📅 Rotating schedule:
Week 1 – Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday
Week 2 – Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

✔️ Holiday and sickness cover also available.
