July 2025: “I really want to lose weight, but there’s no point in starting now - I’m going on holiday in 2 weeks”

August 2025: “I still want to lose weight, but I’ll just wait until the schools go back”

September 2025: “ Maybe it’s time to join, but I’ve got two nights out this month so I’ll wait until next month”

October 2025: “Right this month I’m going to start… but Halloween is coming up so I know there will be loads of sweets. I’ll get that out the way first. “

November 2025: “I’m feeling really low, I really really want to lose weight. But I better save my money for Christmas.”

December 2025: “There’s absolutely no point joining in December I’ve got far too many nights out.”

January 2026: “Slimming World will be mobbed just now with it being a brand new year. I’ll just wait until next month.”

February 2026: “I wished I’d joined 6 months ago. If I lost 1.5lb per week I would have been over 3 stones lighter by now. “

There’s never a “right” time to start. You will always have days out, nights out, meals out, holidays, weddings, Easter, Halloween, Christmas… the good news is life doesn’t have to stop. This isn’t a tight corset diet- it’s a lifestyle change! We can help you navigate through all these events!

Will you lose weight every single week? Maybe! Maybe not! I certainly didn’t! I’m not perfect… I may have fallen off the wagon a few times. But I always kept going. It’s not always easy…. But it’s so worth it!

It’s not what happens between Christmas and New year that counts but what happens between New year and Christmas that matters!
I’m looking forward to welcoming new and returning members on Monday with no judgment or humiliation. Just love, a hug and a roomful of support.

We love seeing our members reach their goal weight whilst eating proper, filling meals which suit the whole family. There is even a place for those little extras we all enjoy! If you would like to come and find out more, you would be more than welcome. I would love to support our community to be healthier for 2024. ❤️

It’s been fabulous to welcome new and re-joining members over the last few weeks to help them achieve their weight loss goals before Christmas. You absolutely can still drop a dress size by Christmas if that is your dream… Our arms are open wide to welcome you in and the kettle is always on!

If you’re struggling with your weight and want to get the ball rolling PLEASE SPEAK TO YOUR GP.

If you’ve not been to a Slimming World group for a while or never before, you may qualify for the brand NEW NHS referral scheme where you can get 12 weeks funded membership to get the ball rolling. Please have a chat with your GP or Nurse for guidance. It’s only a phonecall away. We are the only weight loss plan you can continue with if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic… or even if you have had weight loss surgery. We are here to help! The NHS fully support our plan and approach - we know that going at it alone stacks the odds against your success so join one of our amazingly successful groups for support in spades - you’ll be amongst friends and those unwanted pounds off will turn to stone/s.
