🦠Flu & Covid Autumn 2025💉
The surgery flu clinics are open and invites have started to be sent out for eligible patients.
If you are eligible for a flu vaccination, you do not need to wait for your invite to book an appointment.
The following are the dates for the ‘main drive’ of flu clinics.
• Saturday 4th October - aged 65yrs and over
• Saturday 18th October - aged between 18-64yrs, and in an at-risk group
There will be other weekday clinics available, but we have to wait intil after our ‘main drive’ so we can evaluate how many vaccines we have remaining, for which eligibility groups.
Pharmacies are also offering flu vaccines- if you book an appointment with us, but then have it done at a pharmacy, please cancel your appointment with us so it can be booked by someone else.
💉Child nasal flu
The child flu cohort remains unchanged:
• Children aged 2-3years on 31st August 2025.
We have specific clinics during weekdays in October. If your child is eligible, and we have up to date contact details for you, then you should have recived an invite already. If you have not received your child’s invite, please contact reception.

Covid Autumn Booster:
The Covid Vaccine Cohorts have changed for the Autumn 2025 campaign.
The cohorts that are now eligible for this free vaccine are as follows:
• all adults aged 75 years and over
• residents in a care home for older adults
• persons aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
We realise that this may cause some upset to patients however this is being driven by NHS England and is out of our control.
We are hoping to have a supply of Covid vaccines for our Saturday clinics, and if you are eligible we hope yo be able to offer you both vaccines when you attend.
Unfortunately we cannoy solely offer the Covid vaccine. We would be able to administer them together, or just the flu vaccine, and you would need to attend a separate Covid vaccine centre.
