SKYLARK REVIEW🦅

Today I treated myself to a 90 minute Full Body, Face & Scalp Massage.

I was greeted by my wonderful therapist who showed me to the treatment room, during the consultation process I was asked to take a seat & soak my feet in a bowl of lovely warm water, one foot at a time my therapist applied a small amount of exfoliant to ensure my feet was clean before the treatment started-this was a really nice touch to start off the treatment.

Next my therapist explained that they use the “Gaia” spa range packed with different blends of aromatherapy to enhance your treatment, I was then asked to close my eyes and she provided 3 different aroma blends for me to choose to have during my treatment, a mixture for calming, balancing & uplifting, not knowing which one I was choosing, my senses instantly was drawn to the balancing blend(it smelt heavenly!!)

Next I was up on the massage couch ready to relax!!! After checking what pressure I would prefer my therapist started,
A good amount of time spent on my back (of course my problem area) followed by the legs & feet.
At the end of my foot massage I was quietly asked to turn on to my back to start the front of my body, front of the legs followed on to the arms & then finishing off the treatment with the most relaxing face & scalp massage💆🏽‍♀️

Once my treatment had finished I felt relaxed, sleepy & of course-Balanced!! My body felt lite & I was in a state of pure relaxation!!

Once dressed I was then given some water to hydrate (always very important once you’ve had a massage!!) then I sat for a further 20 minutes in their “relaxation room” & watched the fishes swimming around.

The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful,
Like I said this treatment was 90 minutes long & cost £130.00, would I go back? Absolutely!!!

Always a privilege to meet my clients babies, just know that if you’re in this position & worried about your baby not settling whilst you have your treatments done, adjustments can be made, your treatment can be paused until you are ready, I will forever make sure that you & your baby are at ease🧡

And that’s a wrap for December 2024

This year has been the biggest Christmas yet!!! From this years Advent Calendar just shy of £550 was raised!!!
This meant we could make a huge donation to the children’s Christmas present appeal for the Salvation Army, we made a huge food donation to the to help feed people who might be homeless this Christmas, we also managed to help 6 wonderful local families with a huge Christmas Day food package to get them through this festive season

I always keep a promise too & another huge donation of new blankets, toys, treats & dog food was donated to Stubbington Ark,

Each step I have taken my girls along with me to teach them that Christmas time is about giving, as you can see they are now exhausted😂

I truly am so grateful for each person who purchased a ticket for the advent calendar this year, without you purchasing them we would not be able to make these huge donations so thank you so so much!

I hope you all have the most amazing Christmas & New Year, I look forward to seeing you all in 2025

🎁My little Christmas helpers🎁

Today we took a trip to Smyths Toy Store to purchase all the presents for the children at £250.00 spent on dozens of toys for kids to enjoy this Christmas!

The girls had so much fun picking toys out for kids & also a really good way for them to learn that Christmas is always about giving❤️

We have just one more week until the first winner is announced for the Advent Calendar, just shy of £200 is still to be spent for the Homeless & Food poverty in local shelters, tickets can still be purchased at any time even during December

A huge thank you to everyone who has purchased tickets & donated, it really means a lot to me so that each year we can keep the Advent Calendar going as well as the giving each Christmas, you are all amazing❤️

The Chelsea Swindells Christmas Advent Calendar is back!!!!
A whole 25 days worth of pampering giveaways!!

For those who are new, I have been doing a Christmas Advent Calendar since 2016, all you need to do is purchase tickets,
All proceeds are donated to charity, that’s right every single penny!! Since 2016 we have raised roughly £4,000 just through the Christmas Advent Calendars, over the years we’ve ranged from donating to charities such as helping homeless dogs, children in poverty & the big one-children in hospital over the Christmas period.
I believe every child & adults in fact, should enjoy the Christmas season, no one should feel lonely, struggle to buy presents for kids or even struggle to purchase food!

This Christmas the charities that the proceeds will go to are the Salvation Army-ensuring children receive presents this Christmas Day,
The second charity will be to The Rough Sleeping Hub, who will help the homeless with food donations over this Christmas period.
As always I can NEVER leave out for each £50 that is raised I will donate £10 of my own money to help purchase treats, food, toys & blankets to the dogs & cats down at Stubbington Ark

It’s not just muscles that I love dealing with!

Tickets are £1.00 per number and they are on sale now!! First winner will be revealed on Thursday 14th December

This year I will be continuing to help support the wonderful charity to ensure children who will be spending time in hospital over this Christmas season have presents, goodies, things to keep them entertained & also a little something for the parents too

Along with this wonderful charity part of the money raised will also go towards purchasing presents for the Salvation Army to ensure kids do not go without this Christmas❤️

And let’s not forget the wonderful pets up at for the past two years for every £50 raised I have put £10 of my own money in to help purchase food, treats, blankets etc for the animals in Stubbington & this year there are no exceptions, the pets will not go without either!!

2023 Great South Run completed!!

I’m not going to lie, that was torture for me this time round, I got a blister, my hips hurt, my right quad seized up at mile 8, despite having to do a lot of walking I did manage to push myself to run over the finish line

It was amazing to see all the different tops around you supporting other wonderful charities & it gave me a boost everytime I saw someone else with a .charity top on!

My best friend sent me a voice not which I listened to at the 8 mile point & I’m not going to lie, I cried, it reminded me why I was pushing myself through these 10 miles & that the pain in my legs now is a tiny pain in comparison to what parents who have lost a child have to go through on a daily basis,

It’s safe to say I am not running again now until next year, if you see me this week I might be a little slower then normal😂but a massive thank you to everyone who donated, I will announce the winners of the 50% off vouchers on Friday evening as I know there are more people who like to donate

Also massive shout out to my husband for completing his first great south run, he smashed it! Very proud🧡
