Many hands makes light work… our lovely lady here spent most of her life running a pub! Daily she loves to be useful and get stuck in… we think the housekeeping and kitchen team at grateful for the wisdom and extra help 😉 we were sure to have a break or two with hot drinks and biscuits.🍪 🫖 ☕️ excellent work Mrs W, we salute your hard graft 🙌🏻

🎄✨ Christmas Day at Hartwell Lodge ✨🎄

Christmas Day was filled with true merriment at Hartwell Lodge, shared in ways both seen and quietly felt. From joyful gift giving and a sumptuous Christmas dinner, to live music, stories of history remembered, dancing, laughter and even a few happy tears — it was a day full of heart.

For those who prefer the comfort of their own rooms, Christmas still came to them: gentle visits, thoughtful gifts, cuddles, kind words and moments of connection that mean everything. Bubbly was shared, hands were held, and special moments unfolded that aren’t always captured, but are deeply treasured.
These are the moments that remind us what Christmas is truly about — togetherness, care, and love in all its forms. 💖
