Open approach dorsal preservation rhinoplasty with Piezo.

This case shows the difference between the immediate on-table result and the 3-month outcome.

The aim was to reduce the dorsal hump, improve the profile, refine the nasal shape and maintain a natural, balanced result. Dorsal preservation allows careful reshaping of the bridge while preserving key structural support, and Piezo technology allows precise bone work with reduced trauma compared with traditional techniques.

At 3 months, there is already a significant improvement, but the nose will continue to refine as swelling settles over the next 12 to 18 months.

Precision matters in rhinoplasty.

This video explains why I use Piezo ultrasonic technology for many rhinoplasty procedures, rather than traditional hammer-and-chisel osteotome techniques.

Piezo allows highly controlled, precise reshaping of the nasal bones while helping to minimise trauma to surrounding soft tissues, blood vessels and mucosa. In many patients this can mean:
• Less bruising and swelling
• Greater precision during osteotomies
• Improved preservation of soft tissue structures
• Potentially smoother recovery
• More controlled refinement of the nasal bones

Technology alone doesn’t create good rhinoplasty results, surgical judgement and technique remain the most important factors, but modern instrumentation can make a significant difference.

A beautiful example of natural rhinoplasty evolution.

This patient underwent open approach dorsal preservation rhinoplasty with Piezo, designed to refine the nose while preserving its natural character — and these images show both the immediate on-table result and the early healing journey at 3 months post-op.

Strong, natural, functional.

This on-table male structural septorhinoplasty with Piezo demonstrates the aim of modern male rhinoplasty — improving shape and function while maintaining masculine character and avoiding an over-operated look.
