Hi, I’m Barbora, an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, specialising in Humanistic Counselling, Psychodynamic Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT). Guided by a Pluralistic approach, I emphasise empathy, non-judgment and authenticity. This allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs, creating a custom-made approach that supports your personal journey and helps you find the right path forward. I work remotely and offer confidential online counselling sessions. Fees:
50min session - £65,-

April is Stress Awareness Month, and it is a reminder that your body and mind are constantly communicating with you. Stress is not just pressure, it is a signal. Instead of ignoring it, you can begin noticing where it lives in your body, how it shows up, and what it may be asking for with curiosity.

Many people try to override stress by pushing harder, but this often deepens nervous system fatigue. Your system is not failing you, it is trying to protect you. Slowing down, even briefly, can help regulate your breathing, thoughts, and emotional intensity in meaningful ways.

You can start small by creating moments of safety during your day. This could be stepping outside, loosening your jaw, or taking a few deeper breaths. These simple actions tell your nervous system that you are not in danger anymore. 🩵

Not every better season starts with a big change.

Sometimes it starts the moment you stop tolerating what keeps exhausting you.
The moment you stop convincing yourself that stress, confusion, or constant overthinking is just “how life is.”

A season where things feel right for you isn’t about everything magically falling into place.
It’s about you getting honest.

Honest about what drains you.
Honest about what you keep avoiding.
Honest about what you’ve outgrown but keep holding onto out of habit, fear, or comfort.

Because things don’t start to feel right when life changes overnight.
They start to feel right when you stop going against yourself.

When you stop saying yes when your body is already tired.
When you stop chasing things that don’t feel good just because they look right on the outside.
When you allow yourself to want something different, even if you don’t fully understand it yet.

“Right for you” doesn’t mean easy.
It means aligned.
Clearer.
Less forced.
Like you’re not constantly trying to fix something inside yourself just to keep going.

And most people miss this moment...
because they’re waiting for a big sign, instead of paying attention to what already feels off, and what already feels right.

A simple exercise:

Take your phone and write down 3 things:

What is currently draining my energy the most?

What actually feels right for me lately (even if I’ve been ignoring it)?

What is one decision I can make this week that supports that feeling?

You don’t need a completely new life.
You need a few honest decisions that move you closer to yourself.
