On 7th September (This Sunday), the UK Government will be running a nationwide Emergency Alert Test. This system is designed to warn you if there’s a danger to life nearby, such as severe flooding, fire, or other emergencies.

✅ Check your phone – make sure it’s charged and switched on
✅ Talk to family & friends – what would you do if you needed to evacuate quickly?
✅ Have essentials ready – medication, documents, first aid, food, water, torch & charger
✅ If driving – pull over safely before reading the alert
✅ Remember: this is only a test – no action is required this time
