What an absolutely lovely afternoon we have had with the 1350 (Fareham) Air Cadets. They introduced themselves telling us a little bit about how long they have been Cadets ect,chatted with residents and put smiles on many faces. They finished off the visit with a Drill display and a viewing of a residents room who is a Squadron Leader Veteran,David was very proud to show off his RAF memorabilia.

We are very grateful for the kind donation of money made to Tudor Lodge by the Carling family as way of thanks for the time their loved one spent with us. We purchased five Echo Dots for around the home which will come in very useful for our resident’s. ☺️

We celebrated the lunar New Year today within the two week festival running from 17th February to 3rd March. Residents enjoyed traditional Chinese food with Fortune Cookies and Golden Coins followed by an afternoon of Tia Chi exercise which was great fun. We also had a little time left to find out what our animal was on the Lunar Calendar. 🇨🇳

What a wonderful afternoon sharing memories and eating lovely cakes,Strawberries with Marshmellow dipped in chocolate and a 🌹 for each resident hand delivered by personnel from Victory Squadron at HMS Collingwood.
Although a little early it was a lovely way to celebrate Valentines and remember those we love. ❤️

A very big thank you to Victory Squadron who put smiles on many faces while looking very smart in their No1 uniforms to the delight of the residents. Taking time to listen to memories and asking questions means your visits have a big impact on our residents and Veterans alike .⚓️
