Self-care isnโ€™t just about bubble baths and early nights โ€” itโ€™s also about understanding how your medications might impact you during warmer weather.

Some antidepressants and antipsychotic medications can affect how your body regulates temperature, making you more sensitive to heat or dehydrated faster. This is because they can interfere with the hypothalamus, the part of your brain that controls temperature.
