Personal touches to reflect a unique life.

Funeral service sheets can be simple and elegant or more personalised with photographs, favourite poems, readings and music selections. The choice is entirely yours.

Options might include:
• Favourite imagery that reflects their life and passions
• Words or verses that were meaningful to them
• Order of service details, including hymns, music and readings
• Tribute pages or memorial messages from family

These sheets not only support guests during the service but become cherished keepsakes for those who were close to your loved one.

We will help you design a sheet that feels right for your family — with reassurance and care at every step.

Meaningful mementos to cherish forever.

Funeral keepsakes are small, personal items created to honour and remember someone special. They provide a gentle way to hold on to meaningful moments — whether that’s a fingerprint, a piece of jewellery, or a symbol of a life well lived.

Keepsake options can include things like personalised lockets, printed verses, engraved tokens, memory cards or small stationery that reflect a loved one’s personality. These items become treasured reminders that can be held close long after the service has passed.

At Cutmore Family Funeral Directors, we can explain the choices with care and help you decide which keepsakes feel right for your family. Whether you seek something traditional or deeply personal, we are here to support every step of the way.

Support from a trusted Fareham funeral director.

Loss rarely happens at a convenient time. That is why we are available to support families in Fareham and across Hampshire whenever we are needed.

Being local means we understand our community – its churches, crematoria, traditions and people. It also means you can speak directly to someone who genuinely cares, not a national chain miles away.

At Cutmore Family Funeral Directors, we stand beside local families with steady, compassionate support – because being here for you is not just a promise, it is who we are.

Even after the funeral, there can be many responsibilities that need attention — telling banks, insurers, pension providers and more that someone has died. Life Ledger is designed to make this much simpler by allowing you to notify over 1,000 UK organisations from one online platform.

This can free up precious time and energy at a moment when you are already coping with loss. At Cutmore Family Funeral Directors, we’re committed to offering supportive, clear advice every step of the way — including guidance on practical tools and resources that can ease the process

Making difficult admin simpler during a hard time.

After saying goodbye to a loved one, there’s often a long list of practical matters to sort out. Life Ledger is a secure, easy-to-use service that can help reduce the burden by letting you contact all the companies connected with the deceased from one place.

From banks and building societies to utility providers and online accounts, Life Ledger can send notifications on your behalf — saving you time and the need to repeat the same conversations again and again.

At Cutmore Family Funeral Directors, we understand how much extra stress this admin can bring. We’re here to guide you compassionately through each step — including support with tools like Life Ledger, so you can focus on what matters most.

Gentle guidance through unfamiliar territory.

Losing a loved one is always hard, and when it happens abroad it can bring extra challenges. Alongside grief, families may face unfamiliar procedures, different laws and language barriers that can feel overwhelming.

The first step is to notify the local authorities in the country where the death occurred. Contacting the nearest British embassy, high commission or consulate can help you register the death locally and explain what documentation is needed.

In many cases, the death will also need to be registered with the UK authorities, which can be done through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office or after your loved one has been brought home.

At Cutmore Family Funeral Directors, we understand how daunting this can feel. We’re here to support you with compassionate, practical guidance, helping to bring your loved one home with dignity and respect.

Care that continues after the service.

Grief does not end when the funeral finishes. The weeks and months that follow can feel unexpectedly heavy.

We believe support should extend beyond the day of the service. Whether you need advice, a listening ear, or guidance towards local bereavement support services in Hampshire, we are here.

Because caring for families is not just about arranging a funeral - it is about standing beside you with compassion throughout your journey.

Clear information, shared with care.

A death in England must usually be registered within five days. This can feel like a daunting task at an already emotional time.

You will need the medical certificate and some personal details about your loved one. The registrar will guide you through the process and issue the documents needed for the funeral arrangements.

If you are unsure about any part of this process, we are always here to explain what happens next and offer reassurance.

Funeral Home

Andrew Cutmore Dip FD LFMBIFD CTTLS.

I am a fully qualified and licenced funeral director and I have been in the industry for 38 years since leaving school. I am a full and licenced member of the British Institute of Funeral Directors and I am a accredited qualified Tutor for the National Association of Funeral Directors. Having spent the last eight years working for a large corporate business, I decided that I wanted to get back to what I like and do best, which is looking after families at their time of need.

Looking after your loved one is as important to us as it is to you
