This week is mental health awareness week.
It’s something that is talked about although when you are in a bad headspace, often you don’t talk about.
There are many reasons from not knowing how to express what you are thinking and feeling, feeling ashamed, thinking it will just pass, thinking you should stop feeling sorry for yourself, etc
The truth is unless you address it, often it can get worse. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months and before you realise you have stopped living and merely existing.
Reaching out is often the hardest thing to do, especially when feeling anxious or depressed.
