Open day

Great news! 😊

We're opening our doors to you this half-term for a free cuppa and a chat! 🍵

We're warmly welcoming Parents and Carers of young people with SEND needs or who are home schooled, so that they can find out in person, how we can help.

If you can come along, we'd love to see you on Tuesday 17th February between 10.00am and 1.00pm at The Platform Project Swindon (Unit 2, Lancaster House, Edison Park, Hindle Way, Swindon, SN3 3RT). Parking is free but do register your licence plate when you arrive. We'll have the kettle on and you can let us know what your young person needs.

If this matters to you, but you can't be there on Tuesday 17th February, you can contact us at any time, at this email address: info@PlatformProject.co.uk You can also learn more about what we do at: www.platformproject.co.uk

Do you know anything about Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC)?

It is a rare genetic condition that can affect the brain, skin, kidneys, heart, eyes and lungs, leading to symptoms such as epilepsy and learning difficulties. The great news is, there is so much lived experience and support available and this for everyone.

We’re proud to support the campaign from the , which shares real stories from those living with TSC across the UK.

These stories are powerful, honest and show the strength of individuals and families affected by this condition.

Please take a moment to explore the stories via and if you or someone you know is affected by TSC and would like to be involved, get in touch directly with the .

One of our carers kindly shared the following with us.
Courtesy of The 3H Foundation they received a rs
It included some wonderful goodies and treats.

"The 3H Foundation was formed in 1975 by a family who found that there are very limited holiday opportunities for families with a disabled member. 3H supports people with disabilities to have a break whether on independent group holidays, through family holiday grants or short break activities. We support adult and young carers to have a period of respite both through days out, breaks away or through home based respite hampers."

We’ve had a small group of regular faces at Games Night — and honestly? We love that.

It means people feel safe enough to keep coming back ❤️

But if you’ve been watching from the sidelines thinking:

➡️ “I don’t know anyone”
➡️ “What if I feel awkward?”
➡️ “What if I just want to sit quietly?”

This is your sign ✨

There’s no pressure, no expectations, no forcing conversation.

📍 Games Night
🕢 From 7:30pm
🎴 Simple games like Uno, Dobble & card games

You’re welcome exactly as you are.
