"Our friendly volunteers will be on board the 700 service from 09:00 to 15:00, ready to spark conversations and make introductions. We'll have conversation starters and information about local activities and social groups to suit all interests.

Here's what you can expect:
Friendly volunteers from Oxford Bus Group will be onboard the 700 bus to chat and make introductions.Conversation starters, light games, and information about local activities.Our volunteers will direct the participants from the bus to the café to redeem their voucher.
This event is perfect for:
Concessionary bus pass holders looking to socialise. Anyone who is feeling or and wants to connect with others. People of all ages who love exploring Oxford by bus and would like to chat to others.

The Chatty Bus will run on a specific 700 bus from 9:00 to 15:00.

How will it work?
Use the tracker to follow the bus or look out for the posters in the window of the 700 service. When you board, a Chatty Bus team member will be at the front of the bus."

For anyone looking for more information and hopefully transparency regarding

FINANCIAL CHARGING FOCUS GROUP
There will be a focus group on Tuesday 23rd September from 10am – 2.00pm at Dean Court Community Centre which will look at the outcomes that arose from the first discussion about financial assessments and disability related expenditure.

Some of you attended the first meeting which we appreciate took place a while ago and we apologise for taking so long to push this forward but the aim of this next meeting is to work with OCC on the outcomes that arose from the first meeting and look at communication and information around DRE making it more transparent.

We hope some of you will be able to join us as it is important to have families input on this. If you can make it, could you please let me know as we need to make sure we have enough refreshments etc. Even if you can only make some of the meeting that would still be really helpful. Thank you.
