As part of the drive to reduce elective waiting lists, NHS trusts are proactively contacting patients who are waiting for treatment, to confirm that treatment continues to be required.

We are contacting patients via SMS/text to complete a small questionnaire asking patients to confirm they would like to remain on the waiting list. The SMS/text will include a link to our SMS/text supplier DrDr where patients will be asked whether they wish to remain on the waiting list or not.

It is important that patients respond to the SMS/text message. Continued no response may result in discharge back to your GP.
