All known to be healthy ways to regulate dopamine, the hormone and neurotransmitter responsible for happiness. Where dopamine ‘rewards’ behaviour and helps us to form habits, let’s begin the new year by dropping the ‘quick fixes’ and experiencing sustainable ways to regulate happiness. Put down your phone, pick up your yoga mat and feel.
This mini retreat begins with tea, coffee and nibbles- an opportunity to meet and create connections with those around you. Our yoga flow will be gentle with intention setting woven in to the break work and guided relaxation. You are not required to share your intentions but are more than welcome to discuss them at lunch or on our grounding walk if you do wish to share.
Our lunch is by the amazing , nourishing, beautiful and delicious! The Buddha bowls are vegan as standard but meat alternatives can be provided at a supplement.
After lunch we’ll take a walk through the beautiful Southwood Country Park and into Southwood Woods experiencing nature in her wintery splendour!
You are welcome to take this day at a pace that suits you. The first part of our retreat takes place in the cozy field centre, opposite Chalk in the Park coffee shop, which is open from 8am to 5pm and the coffee shop is where we will finish our walk. You are welcome to join me in the coffee shop afterwards where I’ll no doubt be treating myself to a coffee or hot chocolate! ☕️ 🍰
