Many supporters may already be aware, but we’re pleased to share with everyone…😁

We’ve secured a new permanent site in Farnborough, which will replace the Camberley day service that has been operating from rooms in a local church hall.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Spring Market on Saturday. It was a really special day for us, as the event marked the launch of our public fundraising campaign to refurbish a new home for one of our day services🏠🌷

For many years the day services has been based inside St Martin’s Church in Camberley, but during 2026 students and staff will be moving to their own dedicated building at Medway Drive in Farnborough – with the help of our amazing community.

The fantastic sci-fi characters from The UK Garrison were a real highlight of the day! They drew plenty of smiles (and photo opportunities) and helped spread the word about the campaign by handing out leaflets around the mall.👾

Whether you donated items, helped spread the word, volunteered your time, or simply stopped by to say hello, your kindness and support made the event such a success. In addition, the market raised £238 towards refurbishing our new day service space!

Thank you also to Cala Homes for a very kind donation of plants and Longacres for their generous donation of gardening seeds — all were incredibly popular! 🌱

Join us this Saturday! We’ll be at The Square in Camberley with our spring-themed stalls running a Tombola, Hoop & Cone Game with soft toy prizes, Seed Swap, Garden-themed gifts, Name the Teddy (with two giant teddy bears), Sand Art and information about our award-winning services for people with multiple disabilities. And of course, more amazing sci-fi characters!🌼

We recently welcomed Tony from Cala Homes to our Mytchett service, where he had the chance to see what our students had been working on.

During his visit, students were busy creating handmade jewellery in one area, while in another, everyone participated in exploring foods eaten in Roman times.🏛️

For breakfast (Ientaculum) and lunch (Prandium), students experienced a platter of homemade bread, olives, anchovies, dates and honey. Many Roman meals were made using leftovers from the previous day’s cena — and the students even added pancakes for extra fun!🥖🥞🫒

We’re grateful for Cala Homes continued support of Parity and with spring now here, we’re excited to develop more plans together involving the Gardening Group and other projects 🌱

We’re excited to announce that we will be holding a Spring Market at The Square in Camberley on Saturday 7th March, from 10am to 4pm.🌷

We will have stalls including: Garden gift items, Seed swap, Adults tombola, Sand art, and a Hoop and cone game with soft toy prizes. 🧸

We’re confirming one or two possible additional stalls (but not selling home baked goods on this occasion). And of course, there will be more amazing Sci-Fi and TV characters!

We are looking for donations of:
Garden gift items - preferably a manageable size. Plants are also welcome.
Seeds for the seed swap stall🌱

If you would be interested in volunteering at the event, please let us know your availability.
