A lovely, relaxing trip to Longacres Garden Centre for our students 🌿

They explored the indoor displays before enjoying the plants and trees outside, perfect weather for a peaceful wander. The group then sat down for lunch in the café before heading back to Parity😇

Another amazing year at Fleet Carnival! This time we brought the spirit of Rio de Janeiro with our fabulously decorated minibus, thanks to our creative day services 🎭🌺

Our volunteers sambaed their way down the lively high street in full carnival style — colourful glasses, vibrant headbands, and big smiles all round! 💚

VE Day 80th Anniversary – Gardening Pot Competition🌺🪴

To mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, the Mytchett service organised a gardening pot competition and invited each of our day services and our office to take part.

Each team was given a pot and a selection of bedding plants, with the freedom to get creative and design a display inspired by the theme of VE Day. Team members gathered at the Mytchett service to participate in activities including planting a seed, decorating a mini pot, making felt flowers and indulging in the yummy cake and homemade scones after. 🍰

The idea was not only to celebrate this historic occasion but also to brighten up our settings for the summer. Effort, imagination, and colour went into every entry. The results were truly beautiful!😊

The difficult task of judging fell to our Chairman, Owen Durrett, who had a tough time choosing a winner from the fantastic displays.

We’re delighted to announce that the winner of the competition was the Farnborough Service! A huge well done to everyone involved.

This Learning Disability Week, we’re proud to celebrate inclusion, connection, and community at Parity for Disability!

From Rushmoor to Westminster, we’ve been raising the profile of people with profound and multiple disabilities in a big way 💙

We were honoured to attend the first-ever Pride of Rushmoor Awards—huge thanks to Mara Makunura and her brilliant team for a beautiful evening! We’re thrilled to have received the Social Cohesion Award—thank you to everyone who nominated, voted, and supported us. 🏆

We also had the incredible opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament, thanks to Aldershot MP Alex Baker and her team. A truly special way to recognise the contributions of our amazing staff, supporters, trustees, and volunteers. 🏛️

Here’s to making every voice heard and every achievement celebrated!

We had a lovely time at the Rushmoor Volunteer Fayre, connecting with the community and sharing the work we do at Parity! 💙

It was great to network with other local organisations, and a pleasure to meet the new , Calum Stewart, and connect again with Aldershot MP, Alex Baker.

We’re looking forward to future collaborations, welcoming new volunteers on board, and continuing to champion inclusion!

With not long to go until the Government's spending review announcement on 11 June, it's now time to act.

At its best, adult social care supports people to live their best lives, wherever they call home, with loved ones and in thriving communities. We call on the Government to prioritise and invest in adult social care now, so its true value can be unlocked.

Nearly 100 leaders in adult social care have called on Rachel Reeves MP to strengthen adult social care and work with the sector, including people who draw on care and support, to mitigate the pressures on councils, providers and charities.
