We have been busy adding highly experienced clinicians to our Autism and ADHD Assessment Team and are now a team of 7! Please see the website for full details of our clinical team https://www.autismassessmentsfarnham.co.uk/ The increased team size means that we are able to keep our waiting time for assessments low, typically 1-3 weeks, with reports completed 1-2 weeks after the assessment date. We have also added Adult ADHD assessments to our service. Most of our referrals are coming from personal recommendations and word of mouth so thank you to everyone who has recommended us!

**Extra Autism and ADHD assessment clinics have just been added for February**. These assessments are run by a Consultant Paediatrician currently working in the NHS and we strictly follow NICE guidelines to ensure recognition by the Local Authority and NHS. Reports are typically provided within a week of assessment. We can also provide a service to write the findings into independent EHCP documentation for provision and/or placement purposes. **ASD assessment clinics now added for December**. These are run jointly with a Highly Specialist SLT and a Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician currently working in the NHS, taking place within the South Farnham clinic. All ASD assessments adhere to the NICE Guidelines and include a full report which can be used as evidence for the Local Authority for educational placement or provision purposes.

School refusal. This term suggests that the young person is making the choice to not attend, that they could if they wanted to. This is rarely the case with school attendance difficulties.
