✨Exciting announcement✨

💡MVP is now using Class 4 laser therapy. This delivers a much stronger, deeper, and more effective treatment compared to other classes of laser (this also means the use of goggles is a necessity!)😎

🐶 Dogs,🐴 horses, and🐱cats can all benefit from treatment with class 4 laser therapy.

What can it do? Class 4 laser therapy:
✔️ Reduces pain & inflammation
✔️ Speeds up tissue repair & wound healing
✔️ Improves mobility & joint function
✔️ Helps both acute injuries and chronic conditions

Whether you have a senior dog with osteoarthritis, a performance horse with sore muscles, or a cat recovering from surgery - Class 4 laser therapy promotes healing and pain relief for long lasting results🌟

Oh and it’s much quieter than my previous class 3b laser for our noise sensitive fur babies🥰

Some recent snaps📸from last weeks treatments💓

Nothing beats seeing visible releases — soft eyes, wobbly lips, yawning, and goofy faces of relief🐴Watching animals melt into their physiotherapy sessions is a great reminder that healing feels good💆🏽‍♀️

Just checking in with gorgeous Zaaya❤️

Throughout treatment I check in with each animal to make sure they are relaxed and happy with treatment. This helps provide a calm environment for treatment and often means we can achieve greater (and deeper) results🧘

Positive signs can include relaxed ears, gentle yawns (often when tension is being released/processed), soft eyes and slowed breathing💆🏽‍♀️

Some animals need to reposition to find a spot most comfortable for them to settle in. Others like to lick/chew/groom their owners (lucky them!) to show they are comfortable. Each individual displays their emotions in a unique way so taking the time to observe allows me to spot these signs and adjust accordingly🪧

A polite notice to my wonderful clients📣

From 1st October there will be a slight price increase for MVP sessions. I always strive to bring you the best quality and care in what I do. Over the past year, the cost of supplies, tools, and services I use has gone up quite a bit. To continue giving you the standard you deserve, my prices will be increasing slightly from 1st October🥰

The prices from 1st October:

🐴Equine sessions £65
🐶🐱Canine&Feline session £55

Discounts are also offered when multiple animals are seen in the same home/yard.

Currently there are no call out fees within 20 miles of GU10. Anything over this is charged at £1/mile. Again, if multiple animals are seen in the same location there is no call out fee.

All sessions currently booked for after 1st October onwards will remain at the old prices.

Cancellation within 24 hours of the session will result in a full session charge. Cancellations 24-48 hours before the session will result in a charge of 50% of the session. Thank you for understanding.

I’m so grateful for your ongoing support - it means the world to me❤️

A beauty enjoying her laser therapy treatment👸🏽

Laser therapy was utilised here to help reduce swelling that had collected above the fetlock. Laser works on a cellular level to promote blood flow which effectively provides pain relief and healing🐈‍⬛

By promoting blood flow to this area the lymphatic system was able to drain away effusion that had collected here. This also led to an increased range of motion (especially flexion) through the fetlock joint📐

Laser is a handy tool for many conditions, (not just swelling!)🐎These include: pain relief and tissue repair which can all be beneficial in assisting with surgery recovery, injury, wounds, osteoarthritis and many other conditions. If you feel your animal could benefit from a laser therapy treatment drop me a message!💌

A wonderful day treating in the sun last week🌞

A few snaps of a variety of modalities and techniques used for each individual🐕🐎🐱

Starting with the Trimwave (which delivers H-wave therapy) working to break down/reduce back muscle tension. The Trimwave also provides pain relief which then helps me manually target remaining tension once the initial pain/spasm on palpation has settled🧘

I then use my fascial edge tool to pe*****te deeper muscles to further tackle stubborn trigger points and tension. This tool provides even pressure to the treatment area💆🏽‍♀️

Stretches are best done when muscles are warm - this could be after a hack, walk, agility/schooling session or a physiotherapy session with massage and other techniques that encourage blood flow to muscles🙆‍♀️

Lateral neck stretches are a great way to not only check neck range of motion, but see how the animal feels through their back too. Often once back tension has resolved, other areas of weakness/stiffness (like neck tension!) also resolves🧩

and finally - a clip of the gorgeous Coco enjoying her treatment🥰

My assistant proof reading some recent reports📸

All MVP sessions behind with a static and dynamic assessment. Not only do I look at how your animal moves🐎but I check for any discrepancies with the way they stand🐕(this can really show how your animal has adapted their posture to compensate for any injuries/weaknesses)📝

All treatment is explained throughout the session (and i’m always keen to answer any questions you may have!)🐱

Clients are provided with an exercise plan with tips and tricks for your animal’s daily routine. We want to make them as comfortable and strong as possible which often starts with tweaks at home🏡

Worried about not remembering all this information? MVP provides a full report with history, findings, treatments and remedial exercise plans for you to read in your own time (when i’m not chatting away to you in the session!🥰)

If you’re interested in physiotherapy for your animal then feel free to reach out!

Lots of lovely shapes pulled during this chaps treatment this week💆🏽‍♀️

….oh and a really good snooze after💤

Sometimes animals can make it obvious when they’re enjoying treatment - like Roddy in the first pic👑But sometimes it’s more subtle and they choose to have a good sleep after the session (which allows them to decompress/process all the changes to the body)🐴🐕🐱

This is why we often suggest giving your animal a quieter/rest day after treatment as this allows all changes to settle and for each individual to adapt in their own time⏰

Nothing like making yourself comfortable for a physiotherapy session! 🙌🏽

Dex recently pulled one of his hip flexors when having crazy zoomies as so many of our dogs do🤪

With a tailored rehabilitation plan and regular physiotherapy sessions we are working to soften all tension and reduce pain in order to have Dex back to his usual self. With a thorough assessment, we are able to locate the source of pain/lameness but also all other compensatory issues💆🏽‍♀️

Oh and Dex likes to supervise all my work, got to be up to his standards of course👑
