The GUEEN of the gland - HYPOPHYSIS also know as PITUITARY GLAND 🧠.

The Pituitary Gland is a small, pea-sized endocrine gland located at the base of our brain. It looks like one gland,but consist of two.

Often referred to as the “master glad” of the human body. It plays a crucial role in maintaining internal homeostasis by releasing various hormones into our system.

The Pituitary Gland constantly monitors the body’s needs and sends the signals to the other glands and organs, and it is regulating their functions. It also releases a lot of hormones into the blood.

💎 FSH - Follicle Stimulating Hormone.
💎 LTH - Prolactin.
💎 LH - Luteinzing Hormone
💎 Growth Hormone
💎 Oxytocin
💎 ADH - Antidiuretic Hormone
💎 ACTH - Adrenocorticotropic Hormone

Most of these hormones are well known for women, who try to conceive 🤰.

As we know , all needs to be in balance for a healthy function.

☝️So, did you know, that if LTH - PROLACTIN hormone is too high, then it is blocking ovulation?

FSH - activates Estrogen in ovaries, so when Estrogen level is too low, then FSH stimulates more follicle stimulating hormone and this causing insufficient ovaries function.

LH - Luteinizing Hormone, very important, as its main role is to release the mature egg to be fertilised.

💫 PROGESTERONE is a hormone, that plays a very important role in a female reproductive system. It’s the second main female hormone. It supports menstruation and helps maintain an early stage of pregnancy. Not enough progesterone can cause complications in pregnancy.

Progesterone is created in ovaries and in a small portion in adrenals . Progesterone takes responsibility for blood sugar regulation, keeps bones strong, protects against osteoporosis and regulates the production of thyroid hormones. It acts as a natural antidepressant, helps to normalise blood clotting and improves premenstrual syndromes. Progesterone also keeps breast healthy and protects against breast cancer.

💃 Woman in her 40s - 50s, starts to loose Progesterone up to 75% ( and Estrogen up to 35 %). And that is the main reason for menopause and peri menopause symptoms.

DOES CHIA SEEDS HELP BALANCE HORMONES?

🌱 The idea behind seed is that certain types of seeds, such as pumpkin, flax, and chia, can help regulate the levels of estrogen, progesterone and other hormones. Incorporating chia seeds into our diet can provide our body with the essential fats it needs for optimal hormone function.

🌱 They can help regulate hormones and normalize menstrual flow. And also, Chia seeds are known to reduce pre-menstruation symptoms. It is also rich in fibre, which is also an important nutrient for PCOS, and they are also rich in Calcium and Omega-3 fats, again, an important nutrient for balancing your hormones.

WHAT HAPPENED IN YOUR BODY, WHEN YOU START PRACTICING HORMONE YOGA? 🧘‍♀️

Already, after the first whole set, which includes Warming up, the main practice and harmonisation, the hormones level begin to change, which you will start to notice. The level of some hormones will increase and some will decrease. And exactly as your body needs.

☝️ Someone may notice an improvement after the first practice ( the positive energy can increase, the mind calms, menstruation cycle can be corrected, better sleep, PMS symptoms decrease, the whole body feels better ). You might also notice, that the curves of the body are getting more into feminine shape, mainly due to the increased level of female hormones. Your body became more feminine 💃. At the same time this hormone yoga is an auto lymphatic massage, so significant weight loss can occur - due to thyroid harmonisations which has impact on good metabolism and releasing of retained water.

In the first three months of the practice, your body will adjust due to balancing hormones, so it might occurs some cleansing process, such as acne might appears, sweating might increase, anything “bad” will come out during that cleansing period. And, hence the Hormone Yoga is one of the best body cleansing, detoxifying practice for body, mind and soul.

But the main purpose of this practice is activating, rejuvenating and cleansing endocrine glands and internal organs. So other benefits you can see with practicing this hormone yoga can be improving skin health, including skin elasticity, hair growth, better healthy nails, hair ( ooo yeah I already mentioned that 😄).

☝️Another, very important thing is, if you want to get all of the benefits, this Hormone Yoga has to offer, the you have to keep practicing at least 3-4 times in a week. It takes only 30 minutes of your day, but in return it will give you more happiness, health, joy, positivity, balance into your life 🌺🧘‍♀️💫💃🕺❤️.

About the lector of YYoga – Hormone Yoga Therapy

Eva has been on the yoga path for the past 10 years, where she have been studying, learning and developing both as a teacher and as a student. She completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2012 at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram.
