Here at Porthaven Care Homes, the mental health of our residents, their loved ones and our team is incredibly important to us, which is why we work hard to ensure everybody we care for and connect with feels supported.

Every member of our team, from our carers to our head office staff, has access to confidential counselling as well as various mental health resources, and mental health awareness training is part of our induction process.

As Mind says, mental health is more than just a small part of our lives, it is connected to every little thing we do, which is why we strive to create a supportive, empowering and empathetic environment for our Porthaven people 💜

The two week countdown is on until our Vintage & Classic Car Show here at Bourne Wood Manor Care Home, Farnham in aid of Dementia UK!☀️🚗🏁

Why not pop in on Friday the 22nd of May from 2pm for a fresh BBQ, cocktails and a selection of cars to view!💛

If you would like to register your interest and bring along your car to join in on the fun, please phone 01252 94100 to find out more or simply join us on the day! Alternatively, if you would like to bring a different vehicle in for the event, ie a scooter, you are more than welcome!

Please note our car park will be closed for the event. You can find alternative parking at Waitrose Farnham, with a short walk to our home on West Street, Farnham.

To say thank you, Annie our CSM and Lucy our head of activities visited our local Fire Station to hand deliver fresh cookies!💛

We also invited the crew in to visit our residents and to pop in for a coffee & cake anytime, our door is always open!💛
