My humanistic approach stems from a belief that every human being is unique and views the world in an individual way. I work with people in the “here and now” while paying attention to their past and the impact that has had on them as individuals. This could include childhood experiences or learnt values and relationship patterns. The aim is to encourage understanding and an enhanced awareness of the choices and values that can be made to enable empowerment.

World Mental Health Day this -Thursday 10th October 2019

There is still a stigma attached to mental health problems, therefore some people still feel uncomfortable and do not want to talk much about them.
Many people do not even feel comfortable talking about their feelings, but it’s healthy to know and say how you’re feeling.
As a professional therapist, I will support you with your thoughts and feelings and offer techniques in a safe, confidential environment.
