Do you do S+C?
With the Olympics fast approaching you will hopefully enjoy the performances (final product) the many athletes will show us on TV.
But what is sometimes forgotten is the hours of Strength and conditioning (S+C) the athletes do behind the scenes.
Not only does it underpin rehabilitation from injury but it allows them to enhance their performance by becoming stronger, faster and more powerful. It forms an essential part of an athletes training regime.
I personally wanted to ensure I was giving the best advice to my patients (many whom participate in sport) so I recently joined the academy.
Being part of the academy allows me to interact with specialists in this field like Dr Claire Minshull monthly. I am able to further my knowledge and keep up to date with current research and guidelines so I can better serve you as my patient!
