Formerly the residence of The Bishop of Wi******er, this Grade II listed building offers a quiet retreat for our residents, nestled within manicured lawns and picturesque gardens. The home benefits from beautiful views of the local countryside and village surroundings, providing the perfect backdrop for our rooms. Ashton Manor is situated immediately next door to St Peter’s Church, and within walking distance of Wrecclesham village centre. The local area offers a variety of shops, pubs and a post office. Next year, some of our fantastic Ashton Manor team members will be taking on a sponsored walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.

They will be tackling a 13-mile trek around London to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society to support the important work they do. The Alzheimer’s Society is a cause very close to our hearts, not only for the support they give to families impacted by Alzheimer’s but also the vital research they carry out into the disease.

Is Christmas dinner the best part of Christmas Day? 🍽️ Our residents are certainly looking forward to a tasty meal at Ashton Manor this year, and they all have their favourite foods they are excited for. 🍗🥦🥔

Last week we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day at Ashton Manor 🎄

All of our wonderful staff looked very festive dressed up in their fun Christmas knitwear. The residents loved to see everyone in their colourful and sparkly outfits, spreading festive cheer throughout the home. To help everyone feel even more festive, we enjoyed a warming cup of hot cocoa. ☕️🍫

The Christmas fun continues at Ashton Manor this week! After all the fun of our Christmas pantomime and musical entertainment last week, we are continuing the festive activities with a carol concert on Wednesday 17th December at 2pm.

The wonderful children from St Peter’s Primary School will be visiting the home to put on a Christmas Carol Concert for our residents. 🎶🎄 It is always lovely to welcome the students of St Peter’s Primary School, and our residents are particularly looking forward to hearing them sing some of their favourite carols.

The brilliant Dusty Tracks band visited Ashton Manor yesterday for an afternoon of Christmas music and festive fun. 🎶🎤🎹

Our residents were excited to watch the Dusty Tracks Christmas show. They played some Christmas classics, along with other well-known songs the residents enjoyed singing along to.

Ashton Manor’s own Priscilla and Lubi even took to the stage as backing dancers for the band 💃 which our residents were thrilled to see.

Thank you to the brilliant Dusty Tracks for coming to spread some Christmas cheer. Our residents always love to watch the band perform, and all the festive touches made the Christmas show extra special.

The residents of Ashton Manor are really getting into the festive spirit this week and have even been making their own Christmas decorations.

We were delighted to welcome Lizzy and Vanda from St Peter’s Church for a wreath-making session with our residents. Everyone had a lot of fun creating their own wreaths from seasonal foliage and picking the decorations they wanted to add. This was a lovely creative and relaxing activity, and our residents really enjoyed making their wreaths. The home now feels very festive with these lovely wreaths hanging up. Thank you to Lizzy and Vanda for helping us with this festive activity.

He’s behind you! 😁 It’s pantomime time at Ashton Manor. This week, we welcomed the Carousel Theatre Company for a performance of the panto classic, Cinderella 👠🕛

Everyone had a fantastic time watching the show. The brilliant performers had us all laughing, cheering, and singing. The residents loved watching this very funny version of a story we all know so well, and they particularly enjoyed the songs, many of which they recognised and could sing along to. 🎶

It was a fantastic afternoon of Christmas cheer and left everyone feeling very festive. 🎄

Christmas entertainment with the Dusty Tracks band! 🎶🎹🎤🎸

On Thursday 11th December we are welcoming back friends of Ashton Manor, the Dusty Tracks band, for an afternoon of Christmas music and festive fun.

Dusty Tracks are talented local musicians who regularly visit the home to entertain our residents with their musical skills and fantastic performances. The band is joining us this week for a very special afternoon of live music with a festive theme. They will be playing well-known Christmas songs as well as other favourite tunes for our residents to sing and dance along to. If you would like to join your loved one for a fun Christmas-themed musical performance, we would be happy to welcome you.

We are definitely feeling festive at Ashton Manor, and this week is a particularly busy one full of festive fun.

The annual Ashton Manor pantomime is taking place next week! 🎭

This is always one of our favourite events of the festive season and something our residents look forward to every year. If you would like to join your loved one for this festive Ashton Manor tradition, you are welcome to come along. Monday 8th December at 4pm.

This year’s production is the pantomime classic, Cinderella 👠 Our residents are ready to cheer on the performers, boo the bad guys, and sing along to the songs.

Christmas at Ashton Manor is always filled with fun events and activities, and we can’t wait to enjoy the season with the residents.

Are you excited for Christmas? 🎄

We’re already starting to feel the Christmas spirit at Ashton Manor, so we thought we would start getting ready for all the festive fun. Our residents enjoyed practising their favourite Christmas carols in a festive sing-along. 🎶

Our staff members encouraged the residents to get involved, and we had the words to the songs on the screen to help everyone sing along. It was a lot of fun, and there will definitely be lots more Christmas songs being played over the next few weeks as we get ready for Christmas at Ashton Manor.

Our residents enjoyed a trip out to visit the local garden centre. This is always a great time of year to explore the garden centre as it looks extra festive with all the Christmas decorations on display. The residents had a look at all the plants, then enjoyed browsing the sparkly Christmas decorations and all the twinkling lights. They were certainly ready for Christmas at the garden centre, and the trip made everyone feel very festive. We have a lot of fun exploring the local area with the residents, and at this time of year, the garden centre is one of our favourite places to visit. 🎄
