If you want to safeguard yourself from falls, here is a brilliant little exercise to try: the Fall & Catch.

It’s simple but surprisingly effective, and one of my favourites for people further along in their rehab journey.

To perform this exercise: stand with your feet together, let yourself tip off balance, then quickly step out to catch yourself. You can go forward, to the side, or even try a gentle backward catch if you’re feeling confident.

It trains your reaction speed and balance which are crucial for preventing trips and falls.

Age 60 is the new 50 🏋️

I was looking through some old family photos recently and came across a picture of my great aunt. I asked my mum how old she was in the photo, she said about 65...

I was genuinely shocked. She looked so much older than what I see in my 65 year old patients today. It just shows how much things have changed. We’re living longer, healthier lives. In many ways, youth is being extended 📈

That’s what motivates me to keep creating content: to support this shift and help people stay strong, mobile, and independent for as long as possible.
