These are all designed to reduce stress, overcome old issues, balance energy and enhance a client's feeling of well being and empowerment. All treatments and re

adings are undertaken in a caring, safe and confidential environment. A range of workshops are also on offer, including Reiki Healing, Shamanism and Tarot. Other topics include stress reduction and enhancing self confidence, self-healing and self-hypnosis. Many of the courses and workshops are focused on self and spiritual development. First proper inspection of hives this yr. one hive beautiful and oozing calm energy. Last year’s feisty hive was much calmer, but still a tad reactionary. Had my annual bee initiation with first sting of the yr. Coming on the vernal equinox, that must be an auspicious intro to divine feminine energy!!!

Attended a making course today, run by Farnham Beekeepers Association with . It was hard going and we were all sodden from dipping the straw and rattan in water to keep it flexible.
For those of you who don’t know, a skep is a tradional bee baskets used, used to house swarms or as a permanent residence for bees. Skep making is a dying art. It takes quite some time to make these, so we’ll have to finish off at home! Hope the buzzies like them!

On a making workshop at The Rural Life Centre in Farnham today, run by the FBKA. I went with and his skep in progress looked particularly fab. For those of you who might not know, skeps are traditional bee baskets used to either collect bee swarms or to house a colony of bees. Making a skep is a lengthy process so we still need to put in several hours at home to finish the skeps off.
