What you need to know;

0 - As a Care Worker, there is no such thing as a typical client or a typical day.
0 -Every person you care for is an individual with their own personal needs and 0 0- personality, and your care will be tailored to meet these needs.
0 - This is a very rewarding and varied job where you are a vital person in the
lives of your clients so they can lead as independent and fulfilled lives as
possible.
0 - You do not need to have experience for this role, we are looking for people
who have a caring nature and want to provide a great service to our
customers.

Hours: We have full and part-time work including evening and weekend work.

Criteria:

0 -Be caring, empathetic and respectful
0 -Driving License and own car
0 - Good written and verbal communication skills
0 - Be willing to have a Disclosure Barring Service check completed

Congratulations to Berkeley's Business Development Manager, Seb Vidler for completing the Alzheimer's Society 'Memory Walk' at Painshill Park on Sunday 6th October. He and other walkers rallied together to complete 6 kilometers to help raise funds and awareness for this fantastic charity.

This year the memory walk will bring together an expected 120,000 individuals across the country with the hope of raising over 9 million. Well done Seb for your valuable contribution!

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the highly successful team at Berkeley Home Health.

With offices across the south of the UK, Berkeley Home Health is a rapidly expanding care business which provides the highest quality live-in and visiting homecare to elderly and vulnerable adults in their own home. Due to growth and expansion of the business, we are looking for a Care Coordinator to join our friendly team at our Sussex branch.

Key Responsibilities Include:

o Providing exemplary customer service to all clients and carers by building and maintaining strong relationship.

o Promptly allocate and confirm client bookings based on the clients' preferences and care skills required.

o Maintaining excellent communications with the Care Management team to ensure that person-centred care is delivered at all times.

o Provide regular weekly telephone support calls to all working carers and report any relevant feedback regarding carers/clients as required.

o Create and send carer resumes to clients' and their families' keeping in regular contact to ensure they are well informed about their care at all times

o Ensuring the company database is accurate and kept up to date

The Successful Applicant Must Possess:

o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and well-presented
The ability to work under pressure

o Experience in a previous coordinator role (not necessarily in the care sector as full training will be provided)

o Be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks with a flexible approach
Able to maintain confidentiality and establish good working relationships
