* Muscle weighs more than Fat
* Sugar free drinks are bad for you
* Doing abs exercise burns stomach Fat
* Intermittent fasting burns more Fat

Thereโ€™s plenty more but those are the most common and annoying ones I see all over social media!

Been asked recently if I would do some meal plans for some clients, what should they have for breakfast, dinner, evening meal snacks.

And I said to them NO! Thatโ€™s not because I canโ€™t do it but basically that would be telling them, this is what I eat in a day for me so take that and fit it into your daily intake. For one, you might not enjoy eating what I eat, secondly youโ€™d be eating the same thing each day which can be boring and lastly, what works for my body will not work for you!

So what I will do is, is TEACH YOU, how to understand your nutrition, how to manage your daily calorie goal, hit your macros and make your diet work for you and your lifestyle. I want to understand the affect of what you do at the weekend, that McDonaldโ€™s you crave or what ever it is.

You can still do all those things which are categorised as โ€˜badโ€™ and still live a healthy balanced lifestyle!!

Once youโ€™ve mastered it, thereโ€™s no looking back ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

Can now finally add these onto the platform, for anyone looking to focus on specific areas of their training, you now have access to more personalised plans.

- Strength Programmes 1.0 & 2.0
- Glute Programme 1.0

Strength Programme will be focusing on improving in the compound lifts, such as Squats, Deadlifts, Bench and Overhead Press, using % of your One Rep Max, mixing in accessory exercises for those movements.

Glute Programme will be solely focusing on building those glutes, a good mixture of heavy compound exercise such as Squats & Hip Thrusts alongside accessory exercises, which will include some drop sets, super sets etc. A very demanding but a great programme to follow.

So again Iโ€™m seeing this debate more and more, especially on social media platforms, as well as clients mentioning it during sessions and check ins.

MUSCLE DOES NOT WEIGH MORE THAN FAT!

1lb of Fat weighs the same as 1lb of Muscle.

Fat has a bigger surface area in the body, as the image shows. So you could basically weigh exactly the same and look completely different. So donโ€™t worry yourself with what the scales say, even if they donโ€™t change things are happening and changes are being made.

Especially for those who are incorporating a lot more weight/resistance sessions into their routines donโ€™t worry about putting on muscle, itโ€™s only going to benefit you. More muscle mass, more calories burned at rest.

Put more attention on creating that calorie deficit with your dieting if that is your goal ๐Ÿ™Œ

Had a few clients recently have little teething problems when using MyFitnessPal for the first time, mainly when scanning in and putting the correct weight of their food. Meaning they think they have gone over on their calories for the day!

For me, whenever you scan anything in, whether it be grams, ml or ounces all set the serving size as 1g or 1ml etc.

Then for example if the amount of Choco Rice I scanned in this morning is50g, you would input 50 1g servings. Same for the Milk which was 150ml, so 150 1ml servings.

Keep it simple, donโ€™t over complicate things and always try to scan your food in advance.
