Move to Mend is a gentle, progressive 6-week Chair Pilates block designed for the next 6 weeks to improve spinal mobility, strength, posture, and confidence in everyday movement.
Using slow, mindful movement and supported exercises, we’ll explore how your spine moves, how it supports you day to day, and how to help it feel more comfortable, strong, and resilient. This block is ideal if you experience stiffness, poor posture, back discomfort, or simply want to move with more ease and confidence.
Each week builds carefully on the last, allowing your body time to adapt while developing awareness, mobility, stability, and functional strength.
Weekly focus:
Week 1 – Posture & Self-Awareness
We begin by exploring posture, alignment, and awareness. Learn how your spine sits, moves, and supports you, laying the foundation for the weeks ahead.
Week 2 – Supple Spine (Mobility)
Gentle spinal mobility to encourage fluid movement, reduce stiffness, and help your spine feel more free and relaxed.
Week 3 – Stretchy Spine
Focused stretching to create space through the spine, improve flexibility, and release tension in a safe, supported way.
Week 4 – Strong Spine (Stability)
We introduce gentle strengthening and stability work to support your spine, improve posture, and build confidence in movement.
Week 5 – Spine Shine in Daily Living
Connecting what we’ve learned to everyday life, sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and moving with greater ease and control.
Week 6 – The Ultimate Spine Shine Combo
A feel-good session bringing mobility, stretch, strength, and functional movement together, celebrating how far your spine has come.
