We believe funerals matter. They are an important opportunity to come together, reflect, and say goodbye in a way that feels right for each family.

Our chapels are thoughtfully designed to support both traditional services and more personal celebrations of life. They offer flexibility while maintaining the dignity, calm, and care that families so often tell us makes a difference. Clean, light-filled spaces help create an atmosphere where people can focus on remembering, sharing, and supporting one another.

Whether a service is simple or more detailed, we believe the setting should always reflect respect for the person being honoured.

If you would like to discuss using our chapel, please contact the team or speak with your funeral director, who can guide you through the options available.

When someone we love dies, making decisions can feel overwhelming. At Memoria, we believe families should feel supported, informed, and never rushed. That is why choice sits at the heart of everything we do.

Whether you are planning a cremation service, a celebration of life, a cremation only, or the interment of ashes, including ashes brought to us from elsewhere, our experienced team is here to guide you with care, sensitivity, and understanding. Every life is different, and every farewell should reflect that.

We work closely with families, funeral directors, and celebrants to ensure each service or arrangement feels right for those involved, within surroundings designed to offer peace and dignity.

If you would like to talk through the options available, please contact our site team or speak with your funeral director, who can help guide you through the next steps.

As the New Year is underway, take a moment to reflect on your grief journey and acknowledge the progress you've made.

Grief is a personal experience, and everyone’s path is unique. Some steps may take time, while others may come more easily.

Remember, your journey is yours to navigate at your own pace - don't feel rushed by the passing of time. Take all the time you need before moving forward into 2026.

As we reflect on the memories of those we’ve lost, especially during the festive season, it’s the warmth of their presence and the happiness they brought us that remains. Their spirit continues to shine through the moments we share with others, the traditions we uphold, and the memories we cherish.

If you need someone to talk to then help is available. Here is a list of a few UK charities who may be able to help, or signpost you to local support groups.

On Tuesday, we held our annual Light a Candle for a Loved One Memorial service - it was such a special event, remembering all those that are no longer with us.
We lit candles in their memory and hung star and angel decorations on the Christmas tree, with notes to our loved ones.
If anyone else would like to add a tag to one of our trees, please feel free to arrange a visit on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning, this coming week. We would love to see you.
Thank you to everyone that came along and made it a memorable evening.
You are all in our hearts and thoughts during the festive period and we are always here if you need a listening ear, a cuppa or a hug ❤️
The evening also helped raise money for Holding On Letting Go and Revival Food & Mood, 2 charities we support wholeheartedly and are so grateful for.
Myself and the team, wish you all a lovely Christmas and a very happy 2026 ❤️🎄❤️

The first Christmas without a loved one can often be the hardest. The grief can feel even more intense if their passing occurred just before what is typically a season of joy and celebration.

For many, finding comfort in memories of happier times can offer some solace. Whether it's watching their favourite films, listening to meaningful songs, reminiscing through old photos, or holding onto cherished belongings, these moments of connection help keep their spirit alive.

These small acts can bring a sense of closeness and peace amidst the pain.

How do you honour and remember your loved ones in the days leading up to Christmas?
